Play PS5 dual sense controller on PS3 wirelessly!
So far so good! Only been using a few hours so far but this device lets me play my ps3 with my ps5 dual sense controller WIRELESSLY!! After beating the Dead Space remake a few times on ps5, I wanted to go back and visit the OG Dead Space 1/2 for ps3. I got a ps3 used locally recently and my god, I forgot how small the ps3 controllers were. I used it for a few days but couldn’t really get used to the small feel and sloppy and loose feeling of the ps3 analog sticks.. I found this item here, good reviews and snagged it up. Been using it only a few hours and it works very well. No input lag whatsoever for me on Dead Space 2.Only a couple very small negatives to point out.. the device comes well packed, but there is not info on how to pair the device. Might seem straight forward- just plug it in. Yeah that works to use it wired but I had to google how to pair bluetooth.. plug it in, see that it works, then unplug and watch the unit blink, then hit the ps home button and that’ll pair it. It also did disconnect for me just once, after a couple hours, luckily I was in an in game menu at the time. I paired it again quickly and again no issues after that.I also am NOT getting any rumble or vibration feedback on my ps5 controller like I did on the oem ps3 controller. I believe this can updated on a computer on their site or something? New firmware update. I haven’t done that yet.I think some people may have issues with using different analog sticks with different systems, luckily Dead Space 2 has an option for analog stick sensitivity and I was able to find a sweet spot without much fuss, although it was basically fine to begin with. Not sure how far I’ll venture into other games with this device but it’s working for my intentions. So yes it actually works, ps5 controller on ps3, connected wirelessly. The share button is select, the options button is start, the touch pad does nothing. It transfers over very seamlessly. The home button works fine while I’m playing, though I’m not sure it turns on the system. It def turns it off. It basically feels like you’re using the proper controller. No issues other than rumble, which can be fixed with firmware update. Which I may or may not do at a later time. We’ll see how long it lasts. Buy this if you’re looking to do the same!

Brook Wingman XE2 bridges old consoles with modern controllers—reliable, easy, and super versatile.
The Brook Wingman XE2 Wireless Controller Adapter is a game-changer for anyone looking to unify their gaming experience across old and new consoles.Key Highlights:• Broad controller and platform support — Seamlessly converts modern controllers (like DualSense, DualShock 4, Xbox Elite 2, Switch Pro) for use on PS3, PS4, and Nintendo Switch (including Switch 2). It also works via PC Direct-Input mode.• Plug-and-play ease with ultra-low latency — Setup is effortless: just plug it in, pair your controller, and you’re ready to play—with no lag detectable.• Full feature parity — DualSense and DualShock 4 users get access to motion controls, rumble/vibration, PS button functionality, and battery level display on PS3. One user calls it “a game changer,” allowing PS3 to detect controllers as genuine DS3 units, enabling full legacy game compatibility with minimal delay.• Customizable controls — Powered by Brook’s Converter Center software, players can remap buttons, set macros, implement turbo functions (up to 25 clicks/sec), and tweak stick behavior to match their play style.Minor Considerations:• Analog trigger limitations on PS3 — Some reviewers note that PS3 perceives triggers as digital (on/off), which may affect gameplay in racing titles that rely on nuanced pressure inputs.• Limited features — Functions like powering on the PS3 via controller, pressure-sensitive face buttons, or battery low notifications are not supported.

Perfectly use PS4 controllers on PS3
This device is a lifesaver if you have a PS3 right now. Buying the original controllers as a pain because so many are fake. It’s very hard to tell the difference until they’re in your hands. And legitimate ones are often quite expensive.Just let me use my PS4 controllers, which are more readily available and cheaper. If you’ve normally hooked up your PS4 controller to your PS3, you’ve probably noticed not all the buttons work. The biggest one is the PS logo button not working.I plugged this into the front of my PS3 and then pressed the pair button on it. Then I press the buttons on my PS4 controller for pairing. The controller synced with the system almost instantly. It worked with no trouble and I’ve used every feature on the PS3 with the controller ever since. The only thing that might bother some people is that with this thing you can’t turn on the PS3 using the PS4 controller. The device doesn’t receive any power unless the PS3 is on. That just means you have to turn the PS3 on first and then your controller - not a big deal.Very happy with the quality and price and function of this unit.
