Great bra after Breast surgery. So far..
This bra has been pretty good so far. I started wearing it 8 days after my BA. It fits great but the only thing I'm not a fan of now is that the ribbon edge of the bra is uncomfortable around my armpits. It's not too tight but kind of hurts. It may be because I'm sore in that area though and anything rubbing in that particular area would hurt right now. I'm gonna give it a few more days to see how it works. I like how it dips in the front and doesn't make it look like you have a uni-boob like a sports bra and the straps aren't so close to my neck, but more in the area of regular bra straps. I like how you can adjust the straps and the front to 3 different positions which is great especially if you wear this right after your BA and are swollen. You can wear it on the looser setting while you're swollen and tighten it up when you're a bit smaller. It gives good cleavage too. My surgeon recommended an Under Armor Zip Front sports bra which I really don't like and it was $50! I wish I would have gotten this first but I was in a time crunch so I went to Academy and bought the Under Armor one for the surgery day. For reference, I'm 5'9. 130lbs and approx a 34D with my measurements and I ordered a Medium.UPDATE 1-26-14 The ribbon edging around the armpits are leaving marks and sore. It's not too tight so that's not the issue. It's a fabric problem. The straps also leave marks on my shoulders and are scratchy. The rest of the bra is so comfy though and has good support but I think I'm gonna send back. It's hard to find a nude post surgical bra that doesn't look like a sports bra so I guess I'm on the hunt again. I have 4 more weeks to go until I can wear a normal bra so I really need to find something I'm really comfy and satisfied with.

Best post-surgery bra
I just had a breast reduction and lift 2 weeks ago. My surgeon suggested a Champion compression sport bra, which was okay except that the thin straps dug into my shoulders and since you have to wear it 24/7 for a few weeks after surgery, I hoped to find something that would feel more comfortable. I went on the internet and read as many blogs from women who had had the same surgery and many suggested the Marena post-surgery bra. I ordered 2 and have been so happy with them. The wide shoulder straps are so comfortable and I love that i can slip into it with each arm instead of pulling it over my head....I think the "itchy" problem is solved by a few washings. I washed them before wearing them and haven't had any issues. The bottom strap does lie below where your incisions are so thats really comfortable also and I love that you can adjust both the shoulder straps and front closure. My surgeon also agreed it was a great bra for post-surgery use. The sizing is pretty accurate, although I would order 2 sizes and then go with whats best...especially if your going from big to small or vice-versa. This is a great product.

Comfortable, affordable post-reduction surgery bra
I purchased this bra as a replacement for the uncomfortable and un-stylish surgical vests the doctors sent home with me 3 weeks after my breast reduction surgery. I had been having pain under my armpits which made it hard for me to move my arms, and this bra was so comfortable that I immediately felt a difference. I also liked the low cut and the fact that there were no thick seams that would show under thin shirts or clothing. My only complaint is the material on the shoulder straps around the clasps is very uncomfortable and scratchy. I put gauze pads underneath them to keep from rubbing my shoulders and irritating them. I went from a 42HH down to a 40D and I bought an XL and it fits great. I am currently wearing it on the middle of the 3 clasps and it provides plenty of support and compression and I like that I'll be able to make it smaller as the swelling goes away.

Great buy; Just what I was looking for
Needed an option where the bra and band was integrated. Found it! I had breast augmentation in January 2016, 32AA before 400 cc implants, and it was recommended that I apply pressure to my implants to provide for faster settling. I have several Carefix bras and separate band that work but the band slips and I am constantly pulling it down.I ordered the Medium as I have a 32" band and unknown cup size (somewhere between a C and DD at this point). I am wearing this the bra as I write this review and the fit is great. I am glad my stitches have healed since I notice the lower band does ride them a bit. Not a problem though. It is comfortable and really does bond well with your skin, feels almost like I am not wearing a bra at all, except for the pressure of the band. The band is the perfect width and I like that the entire band is can be used with Velcro. The only thing I would change is the ability to have Velcro on both ends, so that the band can be used left to right and vise versa. Otherwise a great buy and I would recommend, after stitches have healed.
