They weren’t bad. The case build quality is better than the AN01. But not significantly. I guess my qualms with these is mainly that the AAC quality just isn’t good when paired with my DAP. I don’t use Apple Music either, so I can’t say if they would sound better through those files. Sound-wise, where wired IEMs sound clear or how they are meant to…these make them sound muffled like typical wireless earbuds that are super bass heavy. But not in the good way. You lose a lot of detail as opposed to wired. Sure you’re bound to sacrifice some sound quality went going wireless, but LDAC does a better job than AAC. At while using it with my DAP. The size is, well I’m not gonna lie, the case is huge, but given the nature of what they are, it makes sense, and it has room for you to store your IEMs connected if you’re into that. They are portable for a bag or cargo pants/shorts but nothing tight. I think it’s nice that you can turn your IEMs wireless, but if I were you, I would get the AN01s for like $20ish more. Those also have their issues and the main one is just get an adapter or adapters to make them compatible with your respective IEMs. For $30, they aren’t bad for what you need them to do, but they aren’t great either. At that point I would get a pair of Moondrop Space Travel 2s This doesn’t come with a charging cable either, but given today’s age, you likely have an Type-C cable lying around I tried these with a $40 and $150 pair of IEMs. They had the same effect on both. I rather stay wired unless I absolutely need to go wireless. Which is hardly ever. That’s my final verdict, just save up a bit more money if you can for a pair of AN01s and an adapters.
