General Jim's Toy Train Building Blocks Toy Bricks Sets (Telephone Pole Traffic Set (Qty 5))

This was a gift for my son for Christmas. During assembly we discovered a total of 59 missing pieces. I currently have an email into the company and I hope they correct the issue. If they do I would happily buy their products in the future because the set is nice and easily comparable to lego brand for half the price. If they do not correct the issue I will not purchase from them in the future in fear that they will also be missing pieces.

So the quality is slightly lower than Legos, but it is compatible with LEGO and tracks. My four year old son has really been into LEGO trains, so this was a totally affordable way to get a few cars for him. Will be getting a few more here and there as gifts for him.

This is a great product at a great price. A little hard to assemble but well worth the aggravation. Grand kids absolutely love it. Very happy we purchased it.

The product idea is great. There is far too little rolling stock with lego trains, but the bricks don't hold together too well.

First off this thing took me two days to put together. I was so excited to get this for my son who is autistic because he loves legos and trains. Thought this was going to be awesome because it has a motor to push around track. I was so disappointed and my son's heart was broke. The instructions are NOT very good and not step by step. You really need to look close at picture diagram as you will place things in the wrong place. The structure is not sturdy and kept falling apart. I wanted to pull my hair out on this and I usually love putting things together. Very flimsy, when pushing the parts together it would collapse and then I would have to put it back together. Not structured very good! After getting it together finally and put on the track the motor is not strong enough to pull it around the track, not even strong enough for the single engine. I was totally upset and my son just couldn't understand that the motor is not strong enough. I bought this as his Christmas gift and he was excited then heart broken. Do not get this! Waste of valuable time that you could spend on something else.

Absolutely love this. It's compatible with my name-brand Christmas train. At first, the wheels wouldn't turn, while too stiff. It is impossible to get the axle all the way in the wheels, with just your fingers. After getting it in as far as you can- set one side on a notebook (the paper-kind, not the computer-kind) and lightly tape with a hammer. Lightly. I repeat- lightly. This seated the axles perfectly and they rolled on the track perfectly. It doesn't take much force. Tap lightly. Tap-tap-tapperoo!

Overall not the best part. An interesting concept but parts do not fit well. They keep coming apart. Workmanship is poor. Not sure this is good value for the money
