An excellent read.
An original storyline that kept me engaged the whole way through from cover to cover. This is only the second book I've read by this author and it won't be the last as she has definitely become a favourite! It contains every emotion possible and has plenty of spice too.Plus it has my favourite ending.... a HEA! ❤️On to the next!

5 stars! 💕
So, just to point out straight away. There is RH in this book, BUT it doesn't end as a RH. The main FC ends up with only one of the main MCs. The story is really good though and the spice is gorgeous! 🌶🌶🌶🌶 I definitely loved this book and I literally couldn't even put it down. This is my first Penelope Douglas book, and whilst I must say the name choices are a bit odd and it was a little sad for it to not end as a RH, I'm glad how it turned out. There was a really weird twist in it and I was like "uhhh what Cara?!" But I got over it eventually. Love this book and I'm glad I got it. I should read the Tryst Six now for Clay and Liv. I would also like more from Dallas 🙏🏻 Overall, couldn't put it down. Lovely stuff 💕

Grower not a show er!
I didn't enjoy the beginning of this book I found it really hard to follow the story line and struggled with the characters names. This was our book club read so I ploughed through and read it anyway. Couple of the others loved it which meant I had enthusiasm to keep reading. The second half is way better than the first half. Names definitely made it harder to follow. Very fast paced with lots going on.Still think this could be written better for a more enjoyable read.Spicy it was but only a 2 🌶 I'm afraid!

Five Brothers
I really enjoyed this book and couldn't stop reading until the end. I haven't read anything from this Author before so didn't know what to expect from her but was very intrigued by the blurb. I didn't expect Kristjen to be so promiscuous with four of the five brothers from reading the blurb of the story and was shocked and surprised by that and don't have a high opinion of her for that reason but she does end up with just one of them at the end. I would love to read about the rest of the brothers and hope they each get their own individual story.

Loved this!
When Liv’s brothers were introduced in Six Tryst Venom, I was so hoping we’d be getting more books. I wasn’t expecting them all to feature in one, but I was here for it! This one started with a bang, and there was not a dull moment from then on!One of my most anticipated reads, I’d heard it gave Credence vibes, which it kinda did 🤭, but what I loved most was this family. The band-of-brothers, found-family, small-town community protector vibes were so good.I was so invested in this story, these relationships and this town. You don’t have to read Tryst Six Venom, but I really think reading that elevated my experience with Five Brothers. Each brother has a clear identity, and they’re all tortured and so, so hot 🔥 They were so loyal to each other, and when they found a kindred spirit in Krisjen, they took her under their wing. There was tension, there was spice, there was chemistry and I feel like there could have been a few end-game scenarios. It wasn’t hugely plot driven but there was underlying rivalry and criminality and I just loved learning what each brother did to survive their pasts.Krisjen was an old soul, and she became the glue that held the Jaegar family together. She just wanted a simple life, and she had compassion and a strong moral compass, which made her instantly likeable. The only reason this is not a five star for me is because I felt things were left unresolved with one (my favourite) brother (if this gets addressed in another book I’ll be a happy girl 😬) and I wished Krisjen was just a bit older.I am really, really hoping for some more books in the series!I loved this book, and this family, and it was an amazing reminder of why Penelope was my most-read author last year. I love her writing and I can’t wait for more. Fall Away series next, I think.

5 stars
Five Brothers by Penelope Douglas is an electrifying tour de force that grips you from the very first page and never lets go. Douglas weaves a tantalizing narrative filled with raw emotion, steamy romance, and unforgettable characters. The dynamic between the five brothers and the leading lady is intense, layered, and irresistibly addictive. Each brother is distinct, bringing their own unique flavor to the story, while the romance is both passionate and poignant. Douglas’s writing is sharp and immersive, making every twist and turn feel fresh and exciting. Five Brothers is a thrilling ride that combines heart-stopping drama with intense romance. It’s a must-read for anyone who loves a high-stakes, emotionally charged story. Five stars, without a doubt!
