Perfect
Snug fit, quality construction.

Not bad! Especially at this pricepoint.
Nicely sewn muffs that fit snugly over the capsules. Good elastic around the opening means they're a minor struggle to put on (a good thing). They're a little shallow for the X8 though. They stop near the bottom of the body of the capsule, so they're liable to be pulled off easily. Not an issue with XY orientation recording because they press against each other, but in AB orientation, it's something to be aware of.

weird name, solid filter
I thought the name was funny and it looked like an item I wanted for my new Tascam. I use my X8 Tascam for asmr and wanted something furry to rub and scratch for audio effects. These sound amazing and when speaking into the tascam's microphones it works really well for it's intended purpose of filtering pops and 's' sounds to keep the mic from peeking. Great buy imo.

Good, but…
They’re ok. A bit tight to get on, but that assures they won’t fall off. When turning the microphones to the inside position (on Tascam Portacapture X6), the bulk of the filter will not allow the microphones to click fully into position.

Works great
I was initially surprised Tascam didn't bundle in pop filters for their on board mics for the X8. The sides of the included mics are very breath heavy if you put it too close for podcasts and VO. These really do soften the sides of the mics by a great deal. The only hiccup is minor. If you arrange the mics in an X pattern, there's not much space in between the two mics and these pop filters will squish together, so you'll have to put on one of the pop filters with the mic detached so you can fit both on. Fitting both of these with both mics attached in an X pattern is a pain.

Terrible!
No help with the wind whatsoever. You get what you pay for. I opted for a large wind screen that covers both mics. I bought a Bubblebee Windkiller SE and was amazed by the improvement.
