Love this device, easy plug and play, great remote with voice activation, great apps pre loaded but very easy to add your own. Great value for money and we used to take abroad although please note not all apps will work abroad!! Netflix works fine.

We bought this to connect a fairly old tv to the internet for streaming tv, where there is no nearby aerial. It works well.

I've had a Roku stick before but wanted to try this format so that I could trail a longer hdmi cable to my avr (to use it to switch output to a projector as well as a tv). It works well. The only issue was getting the settings on the TV right so that the Roku would recognise it as a 4k screen. Otherwise it would only offer 1020p. Managed it eventually, so that 4k and hdr are on hand. The picture and sound are excellent, the choice of apps is great, and the device operates slickly. I have not tried its competitors but would not feel I had to. Recommended.

As stated in various reviews, it comes with a USA power brick, so ensure if ordering, ensure you have a UK mains usb power adapter, as I am unsure if it will work properly via a TV usb power outlet. Once plugged in it goes through a set up routine, though I could figure out how to skip past the ' add payment method ' details. You can whizz through the apps you want installed, and once set up is complete, login to each of them. It's not a versatile as a Firestick, no way to get Downloader on for some apks. I haven't fully put it through its paces, but the interface seems ok, with no advert orientated bloat that plagues Fire TV devices, and menus aren't cluttered either. My initial experience is that I will probably swap out all my Amazon devices, being as they don't seem to care anymore, never listening to feedback, and forever degrading the once enjoyable Fire TV experience, by turning it into an electronic billboard.

Recently I cancelled pay to view TV and having already owned one ROKU on another TV I wanted another for the TV in the kitchen. I read up and this model was reviewed as the best option for me. The model is fast and easy to operate. The updated handset is easy to set up to use with the TV and there is a volume control on the side. Easy to download on and operate with a vast number of programmes and films. Great value for money.

This makes the usual good Roku experience great! We can now turn the tv on and adjust the volume all from the Roku remote— no need to keep the tv remote handy. Easy to set up as well. I would highly recommend this Roku.

If you live in South Africa, I do not recommend you buy it, because most of the features do not work there, some apps do not appear and is not possible to install and if you like the soccer international live sport events you will be frustrated. The voice assistant does not work, even the voice search option

It was very easy to set up and it works amazingly! Theres lots of apps like Netflix, Prime, Crunchy Roll, YouTube, Disney Plus, and even Spotify. There's a lot more apps but I use these the most!
