Absolutely brilliant for quick household repairs—just add water and go!
I needed to fix a couple of loose bricks on my garden wall and fill a few gaps in the outdoor patio pointing, and this 5kg tub was the absolute perfect size. The beauty of this product is that it's completely pre-mixed; you don't have to worry about buying separate bags of sand and cement or getting the ratios right. You literally just scoop out what you need, mix it with a bit of water in a bucket, and it’s ready to apply. It has a great, workable consistency that grabs well to old masonry, dries to a traditional grey finish, and sets incredibly solid. Ideal for anyone who wants a professional result without the hassle of a massive mixing job.

Reliable Mixture
Used this product on many jobs, from simple pointing , so setting small stones in a patio .Mix container throughly before adding water - I use small amounts so the compound doesn’t cure too quickly .Dried quickly ( but that will be affected by weather conditions ). Note : During hot weather periods I would advise using a spray bottle of water to prevent spray the area you are applying the mortar to .Add some generic washing liquid to your mix to aid smooth and easy application .Great value for money for quantity paid , offering a no-fuss mix .

Item works as it should but amazon delivery dropped the box and cracked the tub losing quarter of the mortar over my porch, no point doing a return as its a waste of time doing one for a couple of pounds worth of mortar

Very good mortar
Really good mortar. I found I needed to add a bit more water than was suggested, which is fine. Mix at the recommended amount of water, if not yet a paste, add a bit more and keep going until you get the perfect paste. Just don't get frustrated and a too much water, take it slow like making a cake batter. It set within 24 hours and fully within 48 - the colour gets lighter as it dries.
