These are nice, solid plates. Heavy feel and good texture. Very snazzy. Since the are ceramic, am a bid concerned as to how they will hold up with normal use, chips, breakage and so forth. We'll see on that. I do believe they are also a bit small for a large meal, but perhaps I eat too much. Overall, good product, but not outstanding to me.

I'm fairly picky about my coffee mugs. They need to be the right shape and have the right feel...whatever that means. They need to be the right size, but not too big so that the coffee is cool before the last sip. These mugs satisfy my pickiness! The uniquely attractive, rough exterior resembles the appearance of carved stone. They always get an admiring inspection when serving coffee to my dinner guests. Great for a cup of coffee and perfect for a cappuccino or latte. Black Miamio dinner plates are coming next!

I was looking for a nice sturdy, ceramic bowl, large enough to hold a big bowl of stew and microwave safe for reheating. They also make really nice salad bowls with their large size. The only problem I can find is that they do not hold plastic wrap in place because it is not a polished surface that the plastic wrap likes to cling to. I just use a rubber band around the edge of the bowl to hold the plastic in place. They are even safe to use in the oven which we need to do when making our famous onion soup recipe. They are also dishwasher safe and can be used in the freezer as well.

Very nice black matte cups. With their modern design they fit most dining sets. The large capacity makes them great for my morning cappucino. We also use them for soup as they hold 15 oz , just under 2 cups. The chiseled design gives the cup a great look and texture. Love that is dishwasher safe and happy we got them.

The Good: Nice stoneware bowls. Perfect for soup season as the bowl holds the heat to keep the soup warm. Also good with breakfast cereals. Dishwasher friendly and very durable. Textured exterior prevents slippage.The Bad: They're a bit heavy so may not be good for small or weak hands.Overall: Very happy with order. I work on a military base in the Middle East and I'm replacing all my old plastic ware. These bowls stack well and fit easily in my mini-dishwasher. Recommend.

It's worth noting that the significant weight of these plates, compared to our usual Corelle dishes, is due to their solid ceramic build. While they offer an elegant dining experience, I would recommend handling them with care—given their weight, they might not fare well if dropped.Overall, MIAMIO's dinner plates are undeniably high-quality and would make a stylish addition to any dining table.
