Good quality and taste
Bought it to make a Shanghai soup called Yanduxian. It does have some smell but I think that's how this kind of bamboo shoots should have. The soup turned out great and tested authentic. Much easier to but fresh bamboo shoots and clean them myself. Will buy again.

Do your research first before reading instructions on can…
Bad instructions on the can. You cannot just drain rinse and add. There is a whole process to canned bamboo shoots. Ruined a whole batch of good ingredients for this!!! Made me never want to try again with the way the whole house smelled and the food was not edible. Smell of ammonia/urine….

Very nice
Really nice. First time using this brand. Simply boiled them in hot water to get rid ofthe smell. Quality is top notch. Quantity in a box is quite big enough for 4-5 people IF used in a dish like Red curry for example. The shoots are NOT tubular in shape but slender flats. Each flat piece was about 2 fingers-size wide and 2 credit cards-size thick. Really liked it.
