Good quality ink and easy to pull
This ink was easy to work with as a first time screen printer. I made over 100 shirts for our company and they all turned out pretty well. There is a learning curve to learning to pull the ink but I think this ink is a good consistency and easy to work with. It was always easy to clean out of the screens but I did make an oopsie on a shirt and after scrubbing and trying many different methods, I was never able to fully get it out so I would be careful. We have been wearing these work shirts for 3 months now of constant washing and the ink has heels up extremely well so far. Overall I have been very impressed.

Classic White Ink For Dark T Shirts
I have used other Speedball inks for wood block and Lino printing, and I wanted to see if this white fabric ink would work with my Lino designs. I got OK results on black T Shirts, better results on black paper. I started with a Lino I made of an octopus collecting trash on the sea floor. I put the ink on a sheet of plexiglass and rolling it out then applied multiple coats to the Lino. I had cardboard inside the T shirt so I could press the ink into the cloth better. I used a glass barren I made to help put pressure on the Lino and make the print. The first print was OK, the ink looks more worn and not super saturated like I hoped for. I made another T Shirt and it was slightly better. I took a piece of black card stock (my last photo) and tried this, and it worked pretty well! The ink has a very creamy consistency, ideal for screen printing. I probably need to let the ink dry very slightly on the Lino next time to get a better T Shirt print. Overall I am impressed with this ink and plan to continue working on my process to get more saturated T Shirt prints. (I hope you like my octopus garden under the sea, inspired by the song!).
