Wheel Scratch Fix® Anthracite Rim Touch Up Paint Wheel Scratch Repair Pen

Turned a corner too sharp and put several scratches on the wheel. After some very light sanding just on the scratches then applied paint. After two coats cannot see the scratches unless you look really hard.

This is a nice paint pen! I have anthracite painted wheels, this paint matches almost perfect.

The sanding block could be made with better material. Dont expect a body ship finish with this on your metal rims. Had to buy 3 diffrent colors to try match the color. 3 stars.

A perfect match on my wheels! I recently purchased a “new to me” car and there was some mild curb rash on two of the wheels. I take meticulous care of my cars and curb rash is not allowed in this garage! My wheels are a tricky color, I’d tried a couple of other wheel touch up paints but returned them as the color wasn’t even close to matching. I wouldn’t consider my wheels to be anthracite color, but I decided to try that color and see if it was any closer than the others I’d tried. It was a perfect match in both color and finish, the results turned out beautifully! I wish I’d taken a “before” pic, but the “after” is impressive, you really can’t tell where the original finish is vs the touch up paint. Now to get my rear brakes and calipers done and she’ll be good as new!

This is a pretty easy and good touch up paint, the only downside is its color is duller than my shine finish..

The anthracite pen matched my Ford XLT wheels perfectly. I had a couple of chips and it filled them perfectly.

This stuff is a lifesaver! I had a nasty curb rash on my alloy wheels, and this kit made it practically disappear. It was super easy to use. The color match was spot on, and now my wheels look almost good as new. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants to give their wheels some TLC!

Update- the company reached out to me after my initial review, and were very helpful. They described how the lid needs to be removed (it actually turns clockwise, which is counter intuitive), as well as the fact that they're working on new packaging to help address this issue. Definitely an A+ for customer service for these guys! Paint seems to match well, but could not remove the cap to use the brush, as others have reported too. I had to drill a hole and empty the paint into another container.

Very difficult to color match. Okay if you have an older car you just want to cover up. Would not recommend on any newer car or if you care about it matching and turning out smoothly.
