Badgley Mischka Women's Salsa Pump

The most luxurious shoe I have ever purchased, I bought them after a year of searching. I was on the fence as to the perfect style of shoe for my dress and what price I could justify. Finally I came upon Badgley Mischka's Salsa shoe. The price on Amazon was too good to pass up! These shoes retail at Bloomingdales for $270! I read 60 reviews and decided to buy a 6.5. I am a true 6. I always have been and was scared to order the 6.5. I think people who said these shoes run true to size probably have a more narrow foot. If your foot is regular-wide, definitely get a half size bigger than your usual. Never in my life has a 6.5 dress shoe fit, and this did perfectly!! They feel like silk on my feet. And as though I'm waking on air. They're the most comfortable shoe i have ever put on (and I sold shoes for a decade) and they're simple and stunning. The sole is so soft...the leather almost feels like velvet to the touch. They are a soft white. I wouldn't go so far as to call them "ivory"- but they are a muted white for sure. I think they would probably work with either a stark white dress or an ivory dress, depending on the style and embellishments. I haven't ordered my dress yet because I wanted to determine heel height first. These are a delicate 3" and perfect for an entire day of wear. I don't feel like I could twist an ankle dancing or trip in them. But they don't feel too short that they aren't bridal either. In all, these shoes are literally PERFECT in every way! Mine came with an extra set of heel pieces (I can't remember the term for the plastic protector at the base of the stiletto) but not a second set of toe decoration. I honestly don't care. For this price they can't be beat. There was a tiny scuff on the satin toe of one shoe, but I was able to clean it off. Nowhere else is it remotely noticeable these shoes have even been tried on! And the box is lovely with Badgley Mischka paper and a cloth bag. Honestly, they're a real winner. But if you don't have an overly narrow foot, listen to what everyone says about ordering a half size up. My true size would not have fit on my foot. The half size up is even slightly snug, but not too snug. And the D'orsay still provides my foot with the proper amount of support. I hope this review touches on all of the questions people have. My biggest concerns were size and colour. They don't pull "yellow" and they don't pull "beige" (warm) or gold. They are literally just a soft white. I cannot wait to wear these on my day!!

I read the reviews and was very glad that I ordered this shoe a half size larger. I am a typical 7.5 in womens shoes (Nine West, Michael Kors, Nina, Guess, etc.) have a slightly wide foot (I typically do not have to purchase shoes in a wide size but a normal/medium size) and the 8 fit perfectly - it was snug without being overly/too small. I ordered the "glacier" color and it is a very soft pastel minty-blue. Very stunning color. The rhinestone detail on the toe is much more sparkly in person and one small inner circle with two larger circles on either side. The rhinestones on the two larger circles are a rectangle shape while the inner circle rhinestones are a circle shape. These shoes came brand new in the original box, with the original shoe bag, and did not contain any form of an odor. I would like to say tho that while the heel is shorter than most Badgley Mischka shoes...I also purchased the Badgley Mischka Kassidy Pump and found it to be more comfortable. I will be keeping the salsa pumps...however since I will be using these for my wedding (and will probably be on my feet quite awhile) I will be putting some clear gel foot pads in the very bottom of the shoe and heel/back of the foot pads in the back of this shoe. PLEASE NOTE: THIS WAS NOT IN THE ITEM DESCRIPTION - There is a very small elastic band built into the heel of the shoe to get it to conform to the contour of your heel which I found to be very handy. It is unobtrusive and if you didn't like it you could easily cut it out of the shoe. Overall - if you like this shoe purchase it one half size larger and if you plan on standing for more than a couple of hours - I would get some heel pads and pads for the ball of your feet (which are no big deal to find and are relatively cheap on Amazon/at DSW, they also protect your shoes as well).

I was looking for a pair of wedding shoes that met three criteria: 1) had a reasonable heel, 2) had some bling, and 3) matched the ivory shade of my dress (Ines di Santo, Lissome). Of the other seven pairs I tried, these were the ones. I do normally order 7.5's, so I ordered up to an 8. They fit well, although they are a tiny bit narrow in the toe box for me.Color was the most difficult criterion. The Salsa in Vanilla Satin was a wonderful match for my ivory lace dress with a blush underlay. I found that the Lacie by Badgley Mischka in White was too bright and had colder undertones. Vanilla Satin has warmer undertones (and a bronze interior versus silver). Other pairs tried included styles by Kelly & Katie, Nina, and Audrey Brooke. The Lacie in "Natural" was also a great shade, but I chose the Salsa because the embellishment went better with my vintage feel and because they were much more comfortable and better constructed than the Audrey Brookes.In terms of comfort, I expect the shoes to do well for a few hours of a sitting/standing/dancing mix. I wore them during a fitting during which I was standing still for almost an hour straight; by the end, I did have to give my feet a brief break by removing them and putting them back on.They arrived with a cloth shoe bag and extra heel covers. The construction of the shoe with satin and leather blows all my other heels away.

EDITAfter ordering them and receiving a size too small, they shipped back a brand new pair in my correct size. They fit perfectly! Will need to break them in, but overall happy with my purchase..! Can't wait to wear them on my wedding day.I bought these beautiful shoes for my wedding - very happy with my order. They arrived just after a week, true to the photos and perfectly packaged.I am only giving it 4 stars because the fit is slightly tight, as I was not able to buy a half-size bigger. However, I'll take it to the cobbler to stretch them and amend my review afterwards. I am looking forward to wearing them on my special day!

J'ai porté ces chaussures pour mon mariage et elles étaient vraiment top!Une classe folle et finalement confortables alors qu'honnêtement je ne pensais pas les supporter plus d'une heure quand je les ai achetées... je m'étais dit que je faisais mon petit caprice et j'avais prévu une paire de chaussures compensées de rechange.J'ai mis à l'intérieur des coussinets en silicone et j'ai tenu jusqu'à 2h du matin avec, sans aucun problème, et en étant en permanence debout. Par contre, petite précision, je suis habituée à porter des talons hauts (pas forcément aiguilles) d'environ 8 cms.En tout cas je ne peux que les conseiller, elles sont magnifiques!
