Excellent Screwdriver
This is a very-well designed screwdriver. The bits all store nicely in the handle. They are easy to take out and put back, and they ALL fir (so you don't have to leave one in the tip to fall out and get lost). They click in well to the tip. The ratchet mechanism works well and gives a solid feel, and the ratcheting control is very easy to use. The whole thing sits well in my hand, it is easy to grip, and is fairly easy to turn. It of course doesn't turn quote as well and as solidly as my old set of Sears Craftsman drivers, but for the convenience of a multi-bit driver and a ratchet, I don't think this can be beat.

Channellock by Megapro
This is identical to the Megapro 211R1C36 except for the color...may cost a few bucks less but the quality is the same; fantastic! I had an "el cheapo" for about a year but the handle cap kept unscrewing every time I removed.a screw. It eventually fell off and I lost it.I decided to lose the rest of it as well, and bought the Channellock. Though made in Canada by Megapro, I can't imagine Channellock would put their name on a tool that wasn't up to the very high standards of their whole line of tools which are outstanding. The handle cap can't unscrew although it does spin to help prevent blisters on your palms. The end cap pulls out but not off and is held closed magnetically. Great design. A little hefty to be sure but then you've got 12 bits and a ratcheting mechanism inside the shell. It feels nice and solid. There's a small amount of movement in the shaft but it's normal for any ratcheting screwdriver. Unnoticeable when in use. As for the price...$24.00 you figure you're getting 12 screwdrivers and a nut driver of superior quality, so where's the beef???

Top Quality Product
I have purchased a lot of ratcheting screwdrivers over the years. Usually the ratcheting mechanism will no longer ratchet-back when the fastener gets too loose. This thing is so precise and ultra-silky-smooth it always ratchets-back. Even when the screw could be easily removed by finger-tip. Love the bit holder and the fact you cannot fully remove it from the screwdriver. Actually, you might be able to, I have not looked, however it does not have a screw-cap, which you will surely lose, holding in the bits. The holder snaps in and out with just the exact right amount of force. Now I want another one for the emergency-repair tool bag in my truck. And maybe one for the house. Superbly engineered, designed and built professional quality tool. It's well worth the asking price.

Best racheting screwdriver, hands down!!
Just like the review from WireCutter.com says.. the best screwdriver, hands down. I bought two MegaPros (automotive version with a lot more bits) for my garage and this one by Channellock (made by MegaPro) for inside the house. Great handle, comfortable and can develop a lot of torque. The bits fit perfectly and don’t lock in to the tip like other screwdrivers. The switch for ratchet direction is easy to use. The magnetic shaft is perfect!! And the bit holder very handy. One of the best tools i’ve ever purchased!! And i’ve tried Snap-On, Irwin, Craftsman, Kobolt (for value), and MacTools and this has been my favorite ratcheting driver hands down! Wish I could give it 6 stars.

Love it, with one minor issue
I love this screwdriver and it was worth every penny, even with one small issue. The pop-out attachment holder got a little wonky (it sounds like some small plastic part got knocked loose) so it doesn't always close easily. Give it a smack and it's fine though. Otherwise it's sturdy and great.

DON'T SCREW UP. BUY THE BEST.
I've been disappointed by more multi-bit screwdrivers than I can count over the years. I have a drawer full of handles all missing half their bits, yet, the compulsion to search for the perfect screwdriver remains as strong as ever. Up until now, the auto-loaders have been as close as I can come to adequacy and two are needed and they do not ratchet. After recently completing two jobs that required standing on a ladder for an hour, I'm sold. Granted, the chance of dropping a bit still exists but all in all, this is the best screwdriver yet. It is solid, designed well and works smoothly even in tight places and the bits do not fall out with every little bump. They have to be pulled out with some force. Even so, if you are crawling around with it in your pocket, you might want to store all the bits in the handle because something could get screwed up that a good screwdriver won't fix. MADE IN CANADA is stamped on the red part of the handle. Only one problem remains: Most DIY'ers keep screwdrivers in every vehicle, ATV, workshop and toolbox they own. And in my case, so far, this one screwdriver does not want to be where I need it when I need it. One of any tool is never enough.

Great tool
Seldom do reviews but remembered myself reading online knowing I wanted something besides my Klein # in 1. Klein is great but if your looking for ratcheting and Klein is what your coming from you will be satisfied. The bit storage proved better quicker for me in the channellock handle. You do lose some nut driver sizes that the Klein offers when you flipped the shaft. The bit holder wears out on Kleins and channellock if used as a nut driver! Then you got s $30 screwdriver that won't hold bits so just don't do it get the drill or nut driver out. So there you go I say give channellock a try. After a few uses everything seems natural bit changing is perfect, forward to reverse or to locked position is easy no crappy black switch on the shaft junk. Plus the back of the handle spins freely for palming constant pressure while turning with other hand. Ok I'm ordering my 3rd now. Lost 1st and haven't completely worn out the ratchet mechanism but it won't stay in selected gear anymore for long. Been used everyday for couple years and in all weather

I really wanted to love this driver - the ratcheting mechanism is first class and the bit holder in the handle is great too. It has a nice grip and the included bits are a good start. Unfortunately, this driver cannot hold any other standard 1/4" bits because without the special Channellock bits with their ball-detent, the bits simply fall out. There is (apparently) some magnet in the shaft but I certainly didn't feel it with any of my bits. The other issue is that the Channellock bits are double ended and the bit holder is very deep to accommodate the bits. This is the second reason you can't use standard 1/4" bits unless they are at least 5cm (2") long. So, if you're hoping to use this with your own hex or torx or other bits, forget it. And if the bits wear out (as they tend to do), you're also in trouble. Those special bits are not easy to find. If Channellock made the bit holder more universal, this tool would be a 6 out of 5. As it is, I can only give it a 3/5

The internally stored bits makes it convenient to store.

I've had this for a few years now, and it's still working as well as the day I bought it. The bits are great quality, and haven't worn down with use. Most importantly, the ratcheting mechanism great. Not only is it easy to select (just hold the collar and twist the screwdriver in the direction you'll be screwing), but it hasn't broken or gone wonky like every other one I've owned. The in-handle bit storage is amazing and easy to use. There's not much else to consider. A few people seem bothered by the bits and rheir fitting not being standard, and the tip not being magnetized, but neither has bothered me at all. This is my forever screwdriver.
