DAB + radio bought to receive a better range of stations than our previous basic DAB set . Relatively easy to set up and picked up a vast number of stations available in our area . The sound quality is perfectly good to me . Probably only be used on mains . A smart looking radio which seems to be good value for money .

Bought to replace my aging and dated "system". I already have a smaller Azatom radio and this model is a step up. It seemed a good alternative as the only part of the "system" I used was the radio. This set looks good, has good sound quality, is easy to set up with 6 basic presets (and a lot more if you want). It has a remote, which is useful. By registering it, I've got a 3 year extended warrant. I'm now using this in my living room and am very pleased with it. I can't comment on all the extra functions as I have not tried to set anything else up (and probably never will)

This is a nice radio for the price. I'm using it in a bedroom while tinkering with my model railway and once you get the bass and treble right on the equaliser the sound is pretty good. There is a remote control supplied and I even received an audio lead with it even though this was not listed on the parts list. The only misleading information I have found is that the unit dimensions given in cm's do not tally with the actual size of the product, I have measured this radio in inches and the dimensions are 12" long x 5.5" high x 3.75" wide approx so it is a reasonable size for a desk or table.

Replaced a fully working Pure DAB because radio stations are moving to DAB+. Having had old FM receivers that are still working after 40 years, its a depressing sign of the times that we are forced onto the consumerism hamster wheel of upgrades now, even with radios. D20 Retro is fairly good for the price. Easy to set up the radio. 6 station preset buttons and most controls are on the front of the unit (this was what I wanted and is less common among DAB radios now). Most controls have their own buttons rather than via a menu. Its sensitive enough to pick up plenty of stations with good strength on DAB but FM sensitivity seems pretty poor even with the aerial. Unit size is moderate but its thin enough to not take up much room. Sound is just "OK" I'd say, being better on the DAB+ stations. This isnt a hi-fi unit for audiophiles. There is less bass than my old Pure radio even with the EQ adjusted but its not tinny. The small remote has good controls with another 3 memory presets available thru that so 9 in total. Havent used Bluetooth function. There is full info available via the display on frequency and signal strength if you need it. The mains adapter is a 9v ,2A power supply with a straight-in coaxial plug at the back of the radio, the cable is not the longest in the world but you can buy extenders. The internal battery charges when you first plug it in and theres an indicator in the display to see how full it is. Havent tested the battery. The leatherette carry handle tucks neatly down the back of the unit leaving a tidy flat top when not in use. Theres a detectable background hiss at lower volumes on some stations but hard to say if its the radio or the station. One annoyance is that the volume control is stepped, and the lowest volume possible above mute is louder than I would really want with the radio close on the bedside. Also annoying, the backlight on the display stays on, with 4 levels, and while it can be switched off, it doesnt go on and off with the radio but needs controlling separately. Overall I'll live with the weaknesses of it and just get used to them. The high minimum volume seems to be the most annoying issue but only becasue the radio is close to me when I use it, but otherwise its OK.

This replaced my old bug dab, this is unbeliveable great,first the sound almost hi fi stand`erd. radio battery fully charged on arival which made setting up easy.remote give`s direct axcess to all controll`s.only used on dab so far which is great reception here on the isle of wight,easy to set up,seems well made,display very good with brightness level`s control,battery or mains choice is great can take in the garden with out look for some were to plug in.looks great in light oak colour,very very pleased and surprised at how very good this radio is, . I fix`ed up my portable c.d. player to aux imput and was amazed at the superb sound, very pleased highly recomend this great radio.

This is a good radio at the price. Good functionality and good tone. Easy to set up. Thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic quality, finish & VFM. Looks great on the kitchen side & sounds great too, especially with the adjustable bass & treble levels. Bought to replace recently made redundant DAB radios, will very likely purchase another one for elsewhere in the home 🏡

This radio is easy to use has a great sound and great value for what you get.i bought this for my wife's birthday and she is over the moon.plenty of stations and the Bluetooth is very handy.
