I love this deodorant and also, the complaints others have are legitimate but easy to work around. First and most important, it works. I live in the south and even now in the summer heat, one application in the morning and I don’t worry about odor all day. I’ve even forgotten to put it on a couple of times and didn’t have odor on the 2nd day either. Yes it’s a firm texture. I put a little body oil or lotion on my pita before the deodorant and it melts right into my skin. Yes the packaging is cardboard so it can break down but personally I don’t find it that hard to work with and it means I’m not adding more plastic into a landfill so I’m happy. So far I’ve tried the aloe banana and lavender vanilla scents and they’re both lovely. I can’t wait to try to ginger one next.

I cannot express how much I love this deodorant! This not a paid endorsement (but I can be bought hehe)Anyways, nothing works for me but this brand. I’ve tried Secret, Dove, Lume, Tom’s and many other natural deodorants. Nothing and I mean nothing prevents my BO like Hey humans. I have no idea why or how but it does. I wear sweaters to work during 80 degree weather and I’m smell free when I use Hey Humans.I tried this deodorant when it was on sale at CVS. I have since then never been able to locate it. I pulled the plug and bought the Lavender scent hoping it would work as well as the Cedar-wood. IT DOES AND I AM SO HAPPY. I can no longer be paranoid at work that I’m a stinky little girl.

Was looking for a clean deodorant option without all the plastic for comparison to my go-to Humble brand (which I love but can’t always find in the cardboard applicator). Hey Human is definitely more affordable - a 2-pack is about the same price as one Humble- and the scent is really nice. I wanted to love it but from a performance perspective it doesn’t quite stand up. I needed to reapply later in the day to maintain effectiveness, and it clumps up a bit in the pits which gets noticeable on dark clothing (though it washes out fine). I’ve relegated it to my “weekend” collection - not a bad option but not my favorite either.For those just trying a “clean” deodorant I’ll give a quick PSA on how to properly use them. Traditional aluminum based antiperspirant deodorants work by physically plugging sweat glands: no sweat, no stink. When you stop using them it can take a couple weeks for the the aluminum to get out of your pores - which makes sense since they are designed to last a long time. During this time you might smell or sweat a little more but RESIST THE TEMPTATION to return to your aluminum based deodorant. Switching back and forth will make neither work, so don’t think like I did that you can wear one to work and the other at home. All or nothin, hon. Once your pores are clear your body will actually start to regulate itself a bit better, sweat production will decrease (I don’t really sweat much at all anymore), and your clean deo will do its job much better. - The more you know.

I've tried several different choices of "natural" deodorants (Tom's etc.) and this one is my favorite. It may take some force to get the stick to pop up through the carboard sleeve but gently squeezing the sides first helps to loosen it up.

Overall this is one of best deodorants I have used. Most deodorants/ antiperspirants still don’t work that well when it really comes to it. This one does the job but really affects clothes. Shows horribly on darker clothes, yellows whites and seems like doesn’t get washed on laundry all the way.

About September 2023 I begin my journey of finding an all natural deodorant that actually worked, didn’t wear off and was actually all natural, no aluminum or pathogens any of that junk. After multiple purchases trying to find the right one I came across. Hey humans, I love that the applicator it’s in is 100% recyclable although it’s cardboard type material it doesn’t get soggy or flimsy. It is a push-up applicator which I also like because it reminds me of my childhood, those orange Flintstones push-up pops. lol Surprisingly, with it being all natural the price is actually fair and decent other brands claiming to be” all natural” will still have aluminum, parabens and propylene glycol in them AND cost $12+So believe me when I say, I have tried it all and this is the best all natural deodorant last all day the formula is smooth. Smells great Affordable, and does not halfway through the day.

Not my favorite scent, but the deodorant works great. It does not leave stains either.
