I am so glad I purchased this because I love the color and I love its use. I am a female cigar smoker and this is so cute to have when lighting my cigars. I love the box that it came in. It's an excellent storage box and shows that it is well taken care of. I want to purchase another one. The way the torch blows is adjustable and torches are a big deal to cigar smokers. So glad I purchased this. I had many others in my cart and shows this one. The best choice ever for a torch.

I previously had a similar but much cheaper lighter that I purchased from Amazon, which lasted a couple years but eventually broke. I went to repurchase that one, and of course it was no longer sold. So I purchased what looked like the same one from a different company, and it was clunky, difficult to fill, and an overall unpleasant experience.So this time, I decided to look at some higher-priced lighters and took a risk on this one. When it arrived, I was surprised at how solid and sturdy it felt. It’s very easy to use, easy to refill, and I like that I can actually put this at a very low setting and it will produce a flame (the cheaper ones I’ve had before struggled to do this). For me, this was well worth the higher price.

This arrived in a well secured packaging. It is easy to use and yet they made sure to provide an instruction in the packaging.Aside from being fancy, it is very easy to hold. You can set the flame and it really provides a good heat. It can burn sugar fast and gives ribs some lil burnt appearance. I did not have a hard time putting butane on it. It is a safe equipment as it provides a lock option when you are not using it.Because it is a small torch, I expected that the capacity will not be that much compared to the regular ones. With the solid but not heavy hardware, the fancy design, and the heat it provides, I think I got what I paid for.Hopefully when they upgrade, they will come up with one where the mini butane bottle can be attached to the torch this size.

UPDATE 2: I contacted the seller and explained the situation. They told me they had not had my experience before with anyone. They immediately replaced my lighter and I'm back to a 5 star review for this product. The people were very easy to work with and I want to thank them. I love my torch/lighter. I highly recommend this lighter to anyone.UPDATE: Below is my first review. I've had the lighter about two months now and I'm not so happy with it. It works great when it works. However, from time to time, it just won't light. I'll fuel it up and click, click, click - nothing. I'll get frustrated, lay it down, and pick up a cheap lighter to get my cigar going. From time to time I'll click the torch - nothing. Then, for some unknown reason, I'll click the torch and it will work perfectly again. I have no idea why it stopped working or why it started working again. So, I've changed my review from 5 stars to 3 stars. I'll see if I can contact the vendor and update again if I figure anything out.This is the best lighter I've ever owned. It truly is a torch-like lighter. You have to calm it down when lighting a cigar or it will burn your face. It has a few switches, i.e. one to lock the flame on in the event you want to use it for soldering, etc., a flame adjustment on the top, and a torch adjustment on the side. What I love about the lighter is 1) the price. This is a deal for the quality of the product. I've paid much more for a far less quality lighter. 2) I sit on my balcony and smoke my cigars. Sometimes there is a strong breeze and sometimes I use a fan. The wind does not faze this lighter. I believe it would light in a hurricane. I tested it inches away from my fan and the lighter fired the flame the fist click. It's an amazing lighter. I highly recommend this lighter and will purchase another to put in my boat when fishing.

Took a chance even though lots of reviews said the igniter did not work. After all, maybe I would get one that DID work. But I did not...and it did not. It worked the first half dozen tries after filling it. And that was another total disaster that I should have paid attention to in the reviews. First let me state my qualifications to talk about spark lighters. I am a cigar smoker. I order torch lighters by the package rather than the each. But at 3 bucks a piece it is no big deal if they die after a month or two. But this cost more than half a dozen of them. The point being, I know what it is supposed to be like to fill a butane lighter. There should be little to no leakage when filling. This thing sends out so much leakage spray I thought I might have to go in for amputation of fingers resulting from having suffered frost bite on them from the leaking butane. Usually you might get a little on you which instantly vaporizes. But this came out so profusely that it was still in liquid form and ran down my shivering wrist. More came out around the filler than went in. It was at that point that I thought I would give it three stars, because it did light and soldered very nicely. Then today, I went to finish the soldering job and it was empty. All the butane leaked out during the night. I refilled it....more frost bite and gangrene....and it would not light. I used my cigar lighter to light it, which wasn't Armageddon bad, but if you solder, you know that it is usually a delicate balance task already unless you have a soldering stand, or an extra hand. I had an extra hand until the butane froze one of them off. So now, here I am with only two remaining hands, and no soldering stand, trying to hold the lighter in one hand, the piece to be soldered in the other, and no third hand with which to light my cigar lighter to light my new torch. That was when I decided that one star would be very generous indeed. So while my wire is cooling off (maybe I should pick it up in my frozen fingers to speed up the cooling process), I got online to request my return label and to write this review. But to be fair I don't want to make it sound all bad. It is pretty and comes in a pretty box.Edit: I feel unable to change my review because it was true and accurate. I am editing to say that the company promptly reached out to me to offer me a free replacement. I appreciated that. So while I stand my my review, I would like to say that, while I declined the free one, I am impressed with the customer service.

This is a fantastic lighter. The flame is very big and works in any outdoor environment, wind, or rain.
