They keep their colour because I planted the seeds last year and come up great and only started to pick them in the past few months. I did plant the seeds over a year ago and have kept their colour green and still are. I was amazed that they survived all the months outside and taste nice. It is the only luttuce I will buy and also it seems slugs do not touch them. I haven't seen anything else to.
