A big bright light that uses two types of batteries. Would be nice if the battery pack could be plugged in to recharge.

Super bright light!
This flashlight rocks! If you really have a need for a bright light then this is for you. It lights up my whole backyard and is great for spotting wildlife if you hear something at nite. I use it to spot foxes that frequent my backyard as I have a small dog. It's expensive but you get what you pay for! If your involved in search and rescue this is right up your alley too.

Got the 2018 for my dad. He loves it and is his EDC on the farm. The brightest flashlight I've ever seen and I've done a ton of research

The power of the sun... in your hand...
Absurdly bright, and that's exactly why i bought it. I love flashlights, i have a ton of them, and i just needed one that was 4000 lumens because every self-respecting man should own at least one flashlight powered by the sun. If my headlights on my car ever go out, i can just hold the flashlight out the window and get home safely... that's what a 4000 lumen flashlight is for, safety, pure and simple. That and I couldn't find any other practical reason to hold the power of the sun in your hand.

This light is "the Sun"
This light has a very good mix of a thrower (high intensity single spot) and broadcast (wide illumination). It has 3 high performance LED's that create an incredible amount of light. This is not a small light as the grip contains 4 batteries. It is slightly smaller than a pop can. It's also heavier than one would expect when you add in the Fenix ARB-L2 18650 rechargeable batteries that are required. However, its not to heavy for everyday use. This is a quality light that should last for years.
