This mat is a decent size, and looks pretty good to be honest. The top surface is indeed cork, though it's quite a thin layer, and below the cork the rest of it seems to be a polymer foam of some sort. The combined effect is that it has the pleasant surface of cork, and the padding and flexibility of the foam.It folds quite easily into a square shape. When folded it looks a little plasticy to be perfectly honest, but that's maybe being a bit too critical. It does come with a bag after all, to put it in. The bag is a nice natural looking thing.As mentioned, it does feel quite cushioned to stand or sit on. I can't really complain in this regard. In fact, I don't have any issue whatsoever with it in use.Overall, a convienant and quality mat that folds away easily.

I like the aesthetic of a cork mat, so when I saw this I thought I'd give it a try. The underside offers a good grip onto the floor, and the cork surface is nice underfoot. It's also pleasantly warm, if you're practicing in a cold hall somewhere!The mat was a little thinner than I'd expected, but to be fair I'm a skinny older lady, and I like a little padding between my bones and the ground! If your kids haven't left college yet, this will probably be ample padding ;P It also has very marked creases on the surface where it folds up (a lot more so than in the pictures) and given that it spends the majority of its time folded, I can't see those settling. But it does lay nice and flat when folded out, as opposed to a rolled mat. Like others, I did find the surface to be slightly slippery in certain poses, but then I also find the ubiquitous roll-up TPE mats the same, so I wouldn't knock it down for that. The actual cork layer is a little thinner than I expected too. I do question the claimed eco-credentials of a largely TPE mat!The addition of a carry/storage bag is a nice touch, and much appreciated.As to longevity, I can't really tell yet. The cork surface seems well adhered to the TPE under-structure, but if it starts to degrade, particularly on the folds, I'll come back and edit this review.The cardboard box that it arrives in is nicely printed, and as a package this seems like a nice gift that would be much appreciated for the yoga enthusiast in your life!

This is a fab mat - decent length and I like the cork backing, helps reduce the movement of the mat when I'm changing positions. I use for pilates rather than yoga. It's thin, but you could potentially also use under a sleeping bag while camping? It wipes down easily, and at present I fold it back up and put it back in the box it came in, but as a lovely added bonus, it came with a great quality tote bag to use for transportation. So far very pleased with it!

This is a nice exercise mat that’s certainly large enough for any activity.Rather than roll like your usual mat, it folds via channelled grooves for carrying in the supplied bag.The mat has a sort of ‘ecofriendly’ marketing line which is why the mat is made from cork and this is reflected in the carry bag, which looks like it’s been recycled.It’s fine for carrying the mat (which can’t really be rolled up) but it’s not the prettiest. Thankfully the mat itself fares better.It looks & feels nice but it isn’t completely made from natural materials as there’s a non-slip backing to the cork that’s made from TPU.The cork surface that makes contact with your body feels good but it’s a little thinner than I would’ve liked and I’m not sure what regular cleaning will do to the cork surface. I’ve previously turned a pressure washer onto my wife’s existing mat that’s completely man-made but I’m not so sure I would do the same with this one.Overall I think the quality is reflected in the price although it’s not something I’d really spend my own money on… but I’d be really happy to receive it as a gift.

With my upcoming travels, I wanted to bring a yoga mat that was easy to carry and clean.This yoga mat comes packaged well in a cardboard box, no issues.The package comes with the yoga mat and a large canvas bag that fits the yoga mat well. The material of the canvas bag is quite durable.The mat has cork on the bottom side and the non-slip TPE on the top side. I was using a typical rolled yoga mat before and I would say that the non-slip material is a bit different. The effectiveness of the non-slip is about the same. The cork side of the yoga mat does not move when I have been doing both yoga and HITT training on the mat (with a lot of jumping and moving back and forth on the mat).The price seems affordable. I would recommend.

This Yoga Mat is 5mm thick. It is foldable that ensured easy and smooth transfer.It is very easy to use, lightweight and super soft and comfortable. Perfect for home work out or yoga.The full size is 183cm x 66cm. Handy and nicely designed carrier bag. Nicely made strong and durable material. It is Ideal for gifting. It came really well packed and super fast. Easy to clean and great value for money.

I really like the idea of this mat. The usual foam rolled ones can be a bit bulky and awkward to carry. This one comes folded into a neat square with a canvas bag to carry it in. I’d much rather be carrying this around than a rolled up one.I like the fact that it doesn’t come in any plastic packaging although not sure how environmentally friendly it is as claimed in the product info as it is partly made of plastic.The cork surface is nice and I prefer it to the foam versions. My only doubt with the mat is how durable it will be with lots of use. Rolling foam mats outs much less stress on the material than this which folds tightly in the same place each time. Only time will tell if it stands up to repeated use, if it does I love it!
