Worth the money
I was really shocked at how great these are and I’m not sure why because I have a pair of 5 inch round ditch lights on the hood from the same Nocturnal line and they’ve been absolutely amazing

Great lights.
These things are bright. I replaced my fog lights in my jeep. Wow they are bright.

Sleek design, but the hardware is undersized....
I have the square-ish LED pod lights w/4 LEDs per pod. These were replacing some short lived multi-LED pods of the same dimensions. These new ones are much nicer looking with the sleek design and LED clear cover that lacks small bolts. But the mounting hardware is really odd. The bolts are very long and very small which makes the hole on the pod way oversized. I ended up reusing the older mounting hardware which was luckily in great shape. I think the size of the bolt heads on the holder hardware look better too. Pics compare the hardware and the one of the pod shows the older hardware at top.

Tested against others, and best bang for the buck
I bought two others brands along with these nilights. They were $55 and $175 a pair, but came with a wire harness and nice plugs. I honestly don't need a wire harness, nor the proprietary plugs as I use my own (everything).I was looking for a flood beam ditch light, that would give me side lighting similar to a UTV mirror light. These nilights aren't as much flood as the more costly "rigid" but they put more light down the road. I couldn't believe it actually.I tested the mid grade "aux" lights and they're similar to the nilights. So much so, I just put them back in the box as the nilights were more of what I needed. The beam on the nilights is more of a wide or horizontal rectangle.

Compact, bright, long range, focused beam, spot light.
These came very nicely packaged and protected by styrofoam. It included mounting hardware and wiring diagram. I am a DIYer who likes building and fixing electronics. Nilight has been my go-to brand for all my switches, wires, fuses, and lights. I've recently upgraded my vehicle head and fog lights to their switch back collection, which are amazing. You can switch between yellow and white light. I've always been happy with their products. Before I got these, I had an old set of 3" Nilight pods I've been using for a few years. When they came out with the NoctHunt series of lights, I had to try them. I ordered a small light bar and these 2" pods. These lights are very compact but shine a bright, long light pattern. My old pods were a bight daylight white. The new NoctHunt lights seem to be more of a warmer white. The beam is yellowish white. The good thing about the yellowish lights is that you get a lot more detail when shining them at or in the woods. That's why I got the switchbacks, too. I like a warm colored light when I'm searching for coyotes. My area is infested with coyotes. I have to search and clear the field and woods before I let my elderly dog loose at the park. These yellowish lights are way better for this because the light doesn't reflect off of stuff. You get to see every twig, leaf, and piece of grass. They also give much better visibility in bad weather. The beam pattern is more focused and illuminates a longer distance than the 3" pods they replaced. I also like that Nilight lights usually don't consume as much power as advertised. I use these lights with my car, my portable power station, and my solar setup. I'm also debating on ordering another set. These would be perfect on my old tool battery flashlight. Its compact size and center rear wire makes this a perfect LED upgrade to my old incandescent spot light. The lower the power draw, the longer the runtime and that's better for my batteries. The old 3" pods I had the cable came out the side of the light. I like that with this set the cable comes out the back middle. These lights are great. I would like to point out that there is a difference with spot lights and floodlights. If you want a light that has a focused beam and goes a long distance, get a spotlight. If you want a broad even light to cover a wider area but not shine as far, get a flood light.

Still functioning several months later!
After installing these LED pod lights on my off-road vehicle, I couldn't be happier with the results. The brightness and clarity they provide during nighttime adventures are unmatched for the price point. Like some other reviewers said it’s super bright for about 100 ft then the illumination drops off. The durable construction ensures they can handle rough terrain and harsh weather conditions without faltering. Overall, a must-have addition for any off reader on a budget.

Nilight Motorcycle Led Pods 2PCS 2 Inch 20W Spot Beam Square Mini Driving Lights
I had the opportunity to try these Nilight 2 inch 20 W set of Motorcycle LED Light Pods, And overall, I’m very pleased with them when it comes to their performance considering how small they are.Coming in at only 2” x 2” these LED light pods are very small. Probably the smallest I’ve ever had the chance to try. But for their size they are actually Surprisingly bright. The quality of the overall built construction is excellent. These lights feel very solid and very well sealed against the elements, So you won’t have to worry about condensation buildup, or water getting inside of them anytime soon. These lights are advertised to contain 5 W Osram LED chips which produce 1800 lm, and I would certainly believe that based on the light output. They’re also advertised to be IP68 and IP69 rated so as I mentioned, you won’t need to worry about water or condensation getting in them.Overall, I feel that these Nilight 2” x 2” LED light pods are an excellent value for the cost, Impressively bright for their size, very well constructed, very adequately sealed against the elements, and of course, these could be installed on anything not just motorcycles. Having tried them and tested them, based on my experience with them, I would give them a solid recommendation.
