This book was disappointing to me. I am a regular monthly reader of Country Living Magazine and think it is excellent, however this little book just skims the surface of chicken keeping and is OK for the suburban poser but not for a serious smallholder with chickens. An invaluble little book with lots of practical advice for first time hen keepers, I would reccomend anyone thinking about keeping a small backyard flock to read this and then keep it on hand.
