At this price I just couldn't complain (70% off), the reel is nice and compact with a choice of handles.Nicely finished and it comes with a spare spool. The action is very smooth and ideal for what I need it for.Very impressed.

Reel still works fine and excellent value for the price

Great for girls
This was bought to replace my old reel which had a broken bale arm, This is a really good reel to buy, very smooth casting action. And all this is being reported by a girl.

Main spool rated for 180 metres/0.25 mm/ 8lb lineSpare spool #1 : 100 metres 0.17 mm / 3 lbSpare spool #2 : same as spare spool #1So this makes this reel suitable for a wide range of coarse fishing; anything below monster carp and medium-weight spinning I'd say. I have bulk Daiwa Sensor 6lb as main line on the main spool, and the thinner Berkley XWR in 4lb on one of the 'spares' to get plenty on in reasonable breaking strain. The reel is quite light, and nice and smooth; the weight of the handle is enough to rotate the bail arm. I'm glad I didn't buy the next size up, which would have been overkill for my purposes. Great on a 13ft match rod.I like the thick bail arm and the anti-reverse switch situated on the underside. As for the anti reverse itself, it's on straight away, no need to back-wind even a fraction.It also has to be said that this reel is a good looking piece!

Too small for 8Feet rod. I love the performance of this reel but can you make a little bit bigger like size of "contender 270".

Non esiste di meglio a parità di prezzo
Ottimo mulinello, non ha la scorrevolezza di un top di gamma da 800 euro, ma è davvero robusto con corpo e manovella in alluminio, va bene per la pesca col vivo, trancio, pesca al siluro, e io lo azzarderei anche per la pesca d'altura e tropicale. Costa davvero poco e vale molto.
