My coffee maker needs these and keeps on telling me to replace them every 3 months so this is 2 years supply. Priced reasonably, I destroyed one when it was replaced and seems to be an activated charcoal filter which should do a good job in assisting in the production of some fine tasting coffee.

Very similar to the original supplied with Sage Coffee Machines. Fits perfectly but, the only negative is that the months in the cut out window are difficult to read, hence 4 stars.

The filters work as well as the official ones, just cheaper. Virtually no difference in fit to machine or taste in coffee.

I ordered these as the Sage ones were not available. I put the cartridge in and no water came through so watched the Sage video which said to soak their cartridges for 5 mins before use. I tried again a couple of times removing and replacing it and still no water. I looked on Amazon and saw one review which said to fill the water up more than half way and it finally worked. So thanks to that reviewer.

Ich bin aufgrund der Rezensionen sehr zögerlich bei der Bestellung dieses Kalkfilters gewesen. Mal soll er funktionieren, mal nicht. Ohne tiefergehende Recherchen (ein erfolgreicher Einsatz dieses Ersatzproduktes scheint teilweise von der Charge der Siebträgermaschine abzuhängen) habe ich dieses Ersatzprodukt anstelle der völlig überteuerten Originale gekauft. Nach dem Auspacken des Filters habe ich ihn zunächst - zur Sicherheit - etwa eine halbe Stunde in Wasser getaucht. Danach konnte ich ihn ganz normal in den Wassertank einsetzen. Anschließen habe ich einfach ein heißes Wasser durchlaufen lassen: nach einigen Momenten des trockenen Pumpens, das sich nach einem Leiden der Maschine anhört, fing das Wasser auch wieder an zu laufen. In Summe ist das Produkt sehr zufriedenstellend und als Ersatzprodukt für die Sage Barista Express zu empfehlen.

Der Filter macht seinen Job und ist leicht einzubauen. Allerdings muss man ihn oft länger ins Wasser legen, als in der Anleitung steht, damit er richtig funktioniert. Ein weiterer Nachteil: Schon nach kurzer Zeit bilden sich Algen im Wasser. Trotz dieser Punkte ist es insgesamt ein solides Produkt!
