10 stars
I used this for my 9mm rifle with a scope. I waited till the sun was starting to set. I picked an object about 100’ away and set the scope right on the dot. My first shot at 50 yards was about 4” from bullseye! After two more shots it was right on. At 75 yards two more shots. At 100 yards two more. This is the easiest I’ve ever sighted in a rife. I usually get frustrated easily trying to even find the target. Well worth the money. I also use it on pistols. My brother in law used it to sight his laser on his pistol and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread.

Most definitely recommend 9mm
This review is for the 9mm option. It comes with 6 batteries and they are paired together, proper instructions, and the laser. The packaging is small and compact plastic box. About the size of a match box. You can stick it anywhere in your gear bag and you won’t even know it there.Let’s talk about the laser itself. Made of brass, and milled very well, has a refreshing on and off button. It was a little hard for me to push it in to turn it on at first. So I used my chamber flag and it turned right on. Chunky fingers I guess. A Crisp click to turn on and off. Bright red laser with minimal star burst effect on the target. It’s not “fuzzy”, you can see the laser clearly at 50 yrd with day light. There are adjustable screws to adjust the laser, but I didn’t need to, it was spot on out of the box.I tested it in 4 different platforms, and the laser was spot on. A+. I was impressed.Being made from brass I dropped it a few times deliberately, and tested again and it was still true.I left the laser on over night and woke to a bed battery. Between 6-8 hours of battery life on one set of paired batteries. I think that’s pretty good.Overall, I would recommend for the price and the adjustability. Even if it lost zero. You can readjust for quick optic zero confirmation Without wasting rounds trying to zero your sights. And spend more time sending lead downrange.

Laser zero is inconsistent
Initially seemed as though it would work. Used it and aligned my sight to the laser. But, accidentally dropped the laser on the ground, and when I went to recheck the zero on my sight it was off after dropping the laser. Seems as though the laser won’t hold its own zero if it’s shaken or dropped.

Improved and Awesome Fyland 9mm Laser Bore Sight
Fits well into the three brands I tried it with. The red laser is nice and bright and can be seen in a lighted room and through the optics I tested it with. The On off button is a welcome addition and makes the sight easier to use than some other brands. The laser is housed in a well machined brass housing that slides right in and out with ease it has what appear to be adjusting screws but as mine was fine out of the box I did not tamper with them. Speaking of the box it is small, fits into a pocket or range bag and besides the sight it also holds 3 sets of batteries and a clearly written direction sheet.I also tried it without the switch in the on position and on dry firing it blinked nicely, if quickly, which is another nice feature for me. I did not see this mentioned in the sales information so it may be just me.I like it, it works and is well priced. A good addition for many with the popular 9mm caliber.I could not find any cons on the one I have.

Better than nothing
Not 100% accurate, and I don't expect it to be. Rather than starting off somewhere extremely off, this gets you closer to where you need to be so you spend less time adjusting and more time having fun. It's better than nothing I guess.

Great laser bore sight
Review is for the 9mm version. This is a great little bore sight. Press button on/off switch in the base, where a primer would be on a real cartridge. There are also 3 adjustment screws to align the laser if needed. Mine was perfectly centered right out of box. There are 3 packs of 2 batteries (6 cells total) and the instructions say you need 3 batteries, but I was only able to fit 2 batteries into the compartment, so I'm guessing that's a typo on the instructions. There's no rim on the back of the case, so you don't need to worry about your extractor messing up your bore sight. Depending on your firearm, this could make removing the bore sight from the chamber tricky. Good idea to have a cleaning rod handy to gently push it out from the bore. You'll likely need to do this on AR platform carbines, since you can't get to the chamber breech to pull the sight out.

Great addition
This was a great addition to my rifle. I was able to get it sighted in to 20ft very easily. The red dot is very visible but not to where it’s emitting too much light to hinder my weapons scope. I will be using this more often and recommending it to my friends.
