Worked perfectly
Repair was straightforward if a somewhat involved set of steps - check the YouTube video to see of your comfortable doing it yourself. The part fit and the spunger and screwdriver worked perfectly. Much cheaper than buying a new pair of headphones, for sure!

Perfect and Easy
This works beautifully for whenever I need to replace the piece of my headphones. Bring them back to their original functionality. I use a video on youtube as a tutorial and it’s easy to follow.

Saved me a lot of time and money!
Thank you so much for this product. You save me from buying new headphones. My warranty had expired when this part broke. I searched on YouTube and saw that it was repairable. I bought this part and followed the instructions from a video I found. Now, my headphones are back! I'm so happy. The screws are just fine and didn't strip at all. All you need is patience. Don't rush when taking off the screws. Anyway, great product. I'm a happy customer.

Good product
My 18 year old daughter broke this part on her headphones and the warranty doesn’t cover it so I bought this to give a try and it was so simple to replace it that she even did it by herself with a YouTube video guide. The parts are just like the originals, one plastic and the metallic U. The screwdriver is the right size too.

Good quality and fit perfectly
The process for fixing this is a bit tedious. Please be careful when taking off the gasket rubber ring. Also I think that the screw driver should be a little bigger. When screwing off the motherboard you might need to press hard and trun the screw at the same. Other then that everything is good.

Works just as good as OEM and video was easy to follow
My headphones were broken for more than a year and I thought to myself there has to be a replacement part. It seems this is a common part to break based on users from the internet. Was glad to find this replacement. The video was perfect and explained how to fix it. It was so easy I did this during my lunch break at work haha. Time will tell if it holds up longer than Sony's OEM part but I am hopeful and this is only 30 bucks to save my $500 headphones so it's no biggie.

Time-consuming way to ruin to ruin your expensive headphones
Well, this really is a crppy piece of kit! As multiple others have noted, the screwdriver is possibly the wrong size. It has stripped one of the (very tiny) screws, although this may also be due to Sony using poor quality, overly tight screw. Nevertheless, I painstakingly followed all the steps in the video, put it all back together. Everything looked fine until I tried to charge it. The light keeps flashing red (supposedly indicating overheating) and the headphones no longer work.
