I’ve been purchasing these containers for years, and they continue to be my absolute favorite. They’re made from BPA-free plastic, are dishwasher and freezer safe, and can even be used in the microwave—provided the container is small enough to fit.The lids seal tightly with a suction-like closure, keeping contents secure and fresh. One of the best features is that they don’t stain, even after storing foods like curry or spaghetti sauce. Reliable, durable, and easy to clean—these containers are a staple in my kitchen.

Love the lids. They snap shut and keeps things fresh

The Rubbermaid Brilliance Pantry 10 Piece Set is great out of the box. I am familiar with the system from a previous purchase and anyone purchasing these should know that the lids are very difficult to open in time. My theory for this is the dishwasher. Although these are advertised as dishwasher safe, the lid suction becomes so tight, they are difficult to open.The container's plastic is a hard plastic that is holding up well, with very few of the previously purchased containers developing slight cracking (that is after a couple of years in use) but not to the point of leaking. The containers are holding up after years of use by keeping liquids in and airtight to avoid pests getting into dry food. It is just the difficulty in opening the previously purchased containers, after time, that is important for people to know about. Avoid the dishwasher for the lids.With this new set, we are going to hand wash the lids to see if they continue to open like they do when you purchase them new.

I'm using the 7.8 cup containers for brown sugar and powdered sugar. At just under 5" tall each they stack nicely and fit on my shelf. The 12 cup is good for 5lb bags of flour and the 10 cup one works for sugar. Made in USA is printed on the bottom of the containers and Made in New Zealand is started on the bottom of the scoops. At less than $88, this set was a good deal for quality containers that should last a while.

If these had been as described and advertised I would have kept them. Sadly they are much taller than where I planned and needed to use them. They are lightweight with an excellent airtight closure. Value for my money would have been great. Planned to use for flour, sugar, brown sugar, and powdered creamer. .Would have been a great organizational set. Crack resistance second to none! Beats the big name brand only available through Dealers. 😉
