This is the best deck cleaner for composite deck, but i prefer the gallon jug and this was all that was available. Sadly a good bit leaked into box during transit so it was an expensive purchase considering i didnt get a whole bottle. Hoping they restock gallon size as it is only thing that works for us on gray TEAK porch. You do have to leave it sitting for awhile before washing off, and I usually scrub it while it sits and sometimes do repeat areas, butin the end it looks brand new and I cant find anything else that does that so Id say 5 stars for the product

the bottle was leaking, I dont even think it was the correct clearner sent. Could not tell, the label was peeled off. The bottle was difficult to turn on and off. And the cleaner spelled like bleach, but didnt clean like bleach. it did not get the pollen off my deck. I used a brush and it still didnt work.

By far the best cleaner on the market to clean composite decking. I sell composite decking and this is our recommended cleaner.Doesn't kill grass and is easy to use and apply. I used the gallon solution before and this time used the hose type.The only negative is that the bottle leaked but was double bagged and tape sealed. They did everything they could to prevent this. Just the nature of the beast.

I had high hopes based upon this product being recommended by my deck manufacturer and the description on the product website. My composite deck is 1.5 years old -- it had gone thru 2 winters without being cleaned, so i had some stains, including green algae/mold and heavy dirt. The product notes to either power wash OR scrub, and i scrubbed with 2 different deck brushes. i'd say i have definite improvement, but i will have to retreat OR power wash. Some of the staining remains. Also - this product is sold in half the size yet 2x-3x the price of other composite deck cleaners available in the hardware / home improvement stores. I'm not sure the value is there based on that pricing differential and less than 100% results. I'm having a hard time buying a second bottle and might just try something else for my 2nd round of cleaning....

(1) Purportedly this product is for use on all current brands of composite decking...until you read the fine print. Even then, the information posted on the label was inadequate and I had to write directly to the company and was told that the solution might damage any newer products without their defining how many years did the "newer" cover. I was told that I should simply dilute the product 1:4 and not use the bottle with the hose attachment but apply spraying it on manually...a much more tedious process, a waste of money for buying the hose attachment and now needing to buy another sprayer bottle.(2) I was warned not to use on the vinyl risers in between the composite steps, nor on the vinyl railing as it might damage the vinyl. And, (3) ignore the Safe for landscaping and gardens if those gardens happen to have fruits and vegetables, because the spray or run-off into your garden could make you skip. IN OTHER WORDS, TO BE REALLY SAFE, DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. AMAZON SHOULD STAND BEHIND THE CLAIMS OF THEIR PRODUCERS OR AT LEAST ALLOW RETURNS ON MISREPRESENTED PRODUCTS.

I have ordered this product at least two times and it always leaks in the packaging. The product does an average job to the composite pool deck.

My composite deck has not been cleaned in years and this product was used. I tried applying with a soft brush, but had to change to a hard bristle brush in order to remove years of mildew, bird droppings, etc. Had to use a lot of elbow grease with the hard bristle brush, but the final result was astounding! Deck was clean and bright once again!
