Pleasantly surprised at how good this is
First let me say I don't know enough about massage to say if this is medically advisable or liable to cause injury if someone doesn't know what they are doing, so I will only speak from my own experience. I purchased this as I was suffering with mild but persisting discomfort from a trapped nerve in my back. On unboxing I was first impressed by the quality of the finish, it looked well made. The buttons are a little tricky to reach if you have the device round your shoulders, but I soon worked out it was easier to turn it on first then get it in position. I tried it and it initially felt weird hard and uncomfortable until I relaxed my grip and got it into a better position, but I was soon amazed at how deep and effective the massage felt. I'd start on my upper neck and upper back then let the slide gradually down my back. The heat is comfortable, not too hot. When the massager is on more fleshy areas it is very easy to imagine there is a real person behind you giving a you a back rub! It was strangely but pleasantly comforting! Although I got it for back pain, I didn't anticipate how mentally relaxing it would be too, so that was a very pleasant surprise, and worth it just for that alone, but I did feel some benefit on my back as well, the muscles felt comfortably stretched and relaxed. I also tested it on my thigh and it worked well on that too so it is fairly versatile within the restraints of it size. It's a little bulky but not too heavy. I got a bit carried away on the first day and put it behind me on the sofa and pushed my back into it, because I wanted it to hurt, and I felt mildly bruised later, so I don't know if that is advised but it felt good but just as effective with a lighter touch to control how much pressure to use. It feels safer to go in harder on more fleshy areas but use a more relaxed pressure on bonier areas, but again that's my hunch, It's a simple but effective design, basically 2 rotating 'hands' with different size bumps, which change direction repeatedly during each session, so it alternates between feeling like it's kneading in toward the spine and then stretching out away from it if that makes sense?! I've definitely felt more relaxed and comfortable after using it. I've only used it on mains electric so far but it does come with a car 12V lead too so will be interested to see if that works. It all fits nicely in the bag provided, and the bag is pretty neat too, so thinking of taking it on travels. Very pleased and I think it's great value at £25.

Lovely bit of kit
Bought for my partner who plays football and end up in pain for days. He absolutely loves it especially as it is multi functional. It helps relieve aches, pains and muscle strains meaning his recovery is much quicker. The carry bag means it’s portable as long as there is a plug socket nearby. The only negative is the length of the power lead. we have to use an extension lead or sit in awkward areas of the house.

10/10 from me!
I can’t recommend this enough! It’s easy to use & is of good quality. My boyfriend is a barber so uses it daily when he gets home from work. I have back & pelvis issues & find the massager was easy to manoeuvre into the right position to give me some relief. It has easy to use buttons for clockwise & anti clockwise, heat or no heat & to increase/decrease the speed. Having the loops to rest your wrist/forearm means you can pull it tighter to create more pressure & therefore, a more intense massage especially in those hard to reach areas. Amazing product at a bargain price

The person works around it more than it works for you.
It will only serve you if you’re in a position where the machine can sit itself. Otherwise it just moves away from the spot you want to massage in. It is does not rest on your body as easy advertised, the hand rest sling didn’t do much except requires extra effort to hold it down, limiting my mobility. (Might be better if it’s a buckle design.) So far the most effective spot I experienced was lower back . ( I stack up pillows so I can lean back on the machine) Performance on neck and especially upper back is not always nice, unless I’m at the right position. Neck it can squeeze too hard and upper back it just keeps rolling on my bones.- not recommended if these are the areas you plan to buy the massager for. I do like the little bag that comes with it. Nice looking and good for storage. However machine still requires a plug- electric source to use it. Not portable to use anywhere.
