I had been looking for something like this and I ordered it because of the great reviews. I was so excited when i received it, I charged it and used it right away. It worked wonderfully the first time. Unfortunately, when I tried to use it again it wouldn't heat up, it would start blinking and shut off. I let it charge for a while, tried it again and it didn't work. I had ordered 6 others for gifts, sad to say 3 others didn't work right out of the box. I returned them all. The manufacturer reached out to me explained the mug and to have liquid in it otherwise an error code would pop up and shut off. They sent me a new mug to try it again. I've had it for about a week now and it's worked perfectly!!! My coffee or tea stays hot for hours! The battery lasts for hours. I used it on a car work trip that lasted for 3 hours, no problem whatsoever. If you want to keep it hot for longer time, just use the charger. They have different colors, I got the burgundy, am thinking of ordering the blue and other colors for gifts. The mug is great and so is the customer service. I am happy I had chance to give it another try. Thank you!!!

I purchased this mug 2 years ago and use it everyday, all day long, its never failed me. Wonderful product. Update… After 2 years and 2 months, my mug has started blistering and the coating inside the mug is flaking off. I absolutely loved this mug and used it every day. Now I must let it go.

The highest setting is 150f. I thought that would be plenty hot for a cup of coffee. Turns out that with a quality meat thermometer, my coffee is 167f from the pot and this cup on high (150) is actually 145. So for $100 I get a not hot cup of coffee in a big, heavy and expensive cup. Bummer.....!!! I thought this was the best one being offered after reviewing several of them here on Amazon. I'd send it back, but the closest UPS is 125 miles from my home. UPDATE: Amazon did find a way to return the cup with USPS which was great. But I did more research and 150 is the standard high temp on this type of cups. So I decided to keep it and go with all the positive reviews I initially read. It does work well so far and is very sturdy. UPDATE: I have been using this cup 2-4 times a week for over a year now. Works like new and no problems. I just wish it would fit in a cupholder in a car.

I really love this cup. It really keeps my coffee hot. However, my anniversary date of receiving was October 25, 2025. I had it one year so my warranty was up. It stopped working November 4. It just will not heat anymore so pretty upset about that if it only last a year I really liked it, but I won’t order another one because the price from a year has almost doubled and I’m not gonna order another one and only last a year

I bought this mug because of the size. It's a full 16 oz filled to the rim. By that I mean it is completely filled and you would be hard pressed using this with the full 16 oz. Because it would spill. But it does hold a full 16 oz. My K-Cup brewer brews a 12 oz cup of coffee, and that 12 oz size fits nicely in this mug because I use a lot of cream. With adding the cream in the coffee, there is three eighths of an inch of space left on the top of the coffee to keep it from spilling. I bought a smaller cup from a different source and it would not hold my 12 oz coffee and creamer. One of the nice features of this mug is it's a one button operation. One button turns it on, another button press sets the temperature to either 120, 135 or 150. It does NOT have an apk to connect to your phone, but really why would you want one. Just drink your coffee. When I fill this cup, the coffee goes into the mug at about 170°. After I add my sugar and creamer it immediately goes down to about 140°. I set my temperature to 135 because that's the best temperature for me. When the coffee drops down to about 133 the mug starts to warm. It keeps the temperature of the coffee at 135° with maybe a 2 degree spread. I drink my coffee slowly, so it takes me a half hour to 40 minutes to drink a cup of coffee. I usually always have a second cup and go through the same procedure with the second cup, with no problem with battery power. I have not been asked by The Buuo to write this review, I have not been paid to write this review, and I have not received a free mug to write this review. I bought this mug for myself and liked it so much that my wife started to use it' So I bought her one. So now we have two mugs and love both of them. The best feature is the size. 16 oz, that's what I wanted and that was the best selling feature.

I have tried several self heating mugs and this one is by far the best. It has a large capacity and long battery life. It holds the temperature well and is easy to clean. One of the key features is the charging system. It is sturdy and appears much better made than the others I've tried.

Although it heavier then most, it has some extreme advantages. One you don need to keep it on the charging plate if you going to finish your coffee in 1 1/2 hours or more. It only has three temperature 120, 135, and 150, but you can easily change the temperature by pushing a button on the cup. You don’t have to worry about spilling fluid in the charger. It contact are very big. I own an ember and I am constantly worried about the cup dripping into the saucer. It has two prongs that are easily destroyed by fluid getting into it.

After my original review, I received a message from BUUO’s customer service offering a refund and a replacement. The replacement mug works great. It seems the first one was just defective. I am very satisfied with BUUO's customer service and I would buy from them again. Thank you for making it right. **Original Review** It is a great-looking design, but it is definitely not for "brewing," as it claims. It took 60°F room temperature bottled water 55 minutes to heat up to 135°F, and it never reached 150°F, which I had it set at. After 2 hours it is sitting at 141°F. Fully charged, showing a green light, and docked on the charging coaster all this time. I have not used it to keep hot drinks warm, but that may be the only use for this mug. I may be returning if it does not keep up.
