RT-2 Mantra BBD Analog Delay Player Favorite fast U.S. Ship!

I am giving this pedal 5 stars because I knew going in the limited feature set opposed to many other Delay pedals and for my needs myexpectations were met, plus the low price has to factor in. This is a true Analog BBD delay pedal not one claiming to be like many here that are falsely advertised as such. Since I am the first to review this product I took a leap of faith. How does it sound? Well like a BBD analog pedal, warm,pleasing,I personally don't find it too dark so that is a plus also do not notice much noise generated with it in my chain, which is another positive.It feels robust the metal housing switch and knobs feel sturdy. I will however come back and add additional comments if I find issues with the buildover time and with normal usage. I have tried this pedal in the following scenarios1.Guitar -Pedal-straight to amp(set to either clean or modest tube amp breakup)2.Guitar-OD pedal-Mantra Delay-amp. Obvious going for some crunch and OD tones.3.In the FX loop of a couple of my amps.This time going for more gainResults in all the above worked well for me. Granted there is no tap tempo so please note that adjustments have to be madewith not only on the pedal but your playing attack and style with longer delay times and repeats. This of course would be while jamming to music in varying environments, recording and band settings.Many like me may use it more for either slapback or thickening for solos and to emulate Reverb, the latter sounding better in my opinion than a actual Reverb pedal. I have sort "maxed out' this pedal with long delays more repeats and wetter signal just to see what it would do so going this route is fun at times but probably something I'll do less often, but I did have to check it out. If you are looking for crazy modulations this pedal isn't really design for that but I new this going in. Those features add to cost and are not as important to me than simplicity and a nice sound. I look forward to combining this with a Digital delay that has more bells and whistles.

Great analog delay pedal, with lots of effect on tap. I use all three knobs set at about 9 o'clock for rockabilly, wich it excels at :-) Very pleased with this pedal. Great value for the money.

It is a decent delay. To me it is not at all exceptional, nor does it sound like a tape delay.

Performs as advertised. First delay pedal, but it feels priced right to me.
