I ordered this by accident, but here is my review.My husband and I began playing pickleball a few years ago, and have played very sporatically until recently. We began with wooden paddles, then got a set of 4 fiberglass paddles, and recently began buying paddles in the $30-60 dollar range, comparing them and finding our favorite.This paddle plays a lot like our 4 paddle set, though the lights might give it a bit more weight and stability. I'm not a fan of the surface, preferring more texture to this very smooth face.It's not a bad paddle, and honestly better than I thought it would be. But unless you are specifically looking for a light-up paddle, you can get a pair of similar-quality paddles for the price of this one, or spend another $10 and get a higher quality paddle. If you are wanting a light up paddle, this one plays okay.

This is definitely a fun paddle. Love the LED green glow when playing at night. Easy to charge with the included usb cord. So, I definitely wouldn’t use it for tournament play or competitive matches but it’s super fun when out playing with friends. We passed it around for different players to try. And whoever played with the paddle won this game! Maybe it was because the opposite team was too focused on the paddle and not the ball!The paddle does not have much texture on the face and kinda has a plonk sound when hitting. But it does have a nice grip and it actually played pretty well. And most importantly, it was fun to play at night with it. It also came with a nice blue cover and at a great price. This would make a great present for the pickleball enthusiast.

So when your pickleball courts turn off the lights signaling the park is closed, you just laugh and break out this bad boy. Hit that button on the bottom of the handle and "Let There Be LIGHT!" Bright green LEDS embedded under the outer guard will keep your game going for about another 6 hours. That's about how long the batteries last before they need to be charged back up. Just plug the included USB type C cord into the handle to charge. The paddle it self doesn't play to bad. Its fiberglass and fairly light. Handle is pretty comfortable. The face of the paddle feels very smooth so don't expect to get much spin on those slice shots. It's a fun, eye-catching, functional paddle for playing around with and if you can find a decent LED pickle ball then you can really play in the dark. Even though your paddle is lit up, it's still kind of difficult to see a ball with no illumination. So enjoy some late night dinks and doinks. Your neighbors will love it and so will you. Afterwards you can get a job at the airport and taxi aircraft on the runway with your paddle. BONUS!!
