You can never be sure what size torch you are getting from photographs. I have got a very small led torch that takes an AAA battery and I find it ideal for my needs as I only use it to briefly look at something. I thought that I would buy this medium size torch as it took a AA battery and will therefore last longer for prolonged use and I also have the larger ubiquitous torch so I have shown them all for comparison. I am very old and my eyesight is not what it used to be so a torch is very useful for examining things in detail or finding things I have dropped. No doubt I will find all torches useful at some time but this medium size torch seems to be a good all rounder as it also focuses for distance.

It was advertised with brightness of 3500 lumen using 18650 battery or 1 x AAA battery, they need to correct their advert! Description was wrong as it only takes in 1 x AA battery. On receipt and checked, the brightness is worse than my cheap £1 mini torch, which was rated at 100 lumen, from my local One Pound shop! Disappointment! However,the other features of 'zoom' and 'flash' do work easily.Further my earlier review, I actually found that due its small & light unit, i now carried it in my pocket during these short daylight hours. i still have a doubt about the lumens .. still brighter than most of my other mini torch. Still worth a buy to keep in pocket or in the car.

It is sometimes difficult to envisage the item from a website, especially size. This little torch though is excellent. It has two settings, uses on NOT SUPPLIED AA battery. It is well made in metal and so not flimsy or light, but it packs a punch well above its size. If there is one criticism is that the price and postage do not sit well together. Some items from China cost MORE in 'postage' than the cost of the item. A multiple purchase just puts up the price as the post charges do not change. I believe this is an issue Amazon should address especially when an item is advertised for pennies BUT the postage is POUNDS PER ITEM which means the item is paid for by the postage but gets a seemingly better position in the Amazon price list. I CONSIDER THIS FRAUD. Amazon should not accept this cheating. I would have bought more if the post had been reasonable compared to the purchase price, but there are much worse examples than this.

As expected pull / push front end to zoom in from wide flood to pinpoint bright square. Small enough to hold in your teeth when you need both hands free. Useful clip but I can't imagine when I'd use it. Takes 1x AA and has a strobe light position too. Very useful item. I feel the rubber at the rear end over the button is thin and I imagine it failing in time. Very swift delivery some ten days earlier than their earliest prediction and small enough to come through the letter box.

Very substantial feel in the hand. There are a lot of similar torches out their but this feels tough. Having said this the on /off/flicker control is a button in the end that is recessed a bit deep and could be difficult for the large fingered. The button is also one of those that is protected by a rubber bubble presumably for water proofing and i wonder if continued use would wear this bubble away. The beam can be set to wide or narrow by pulling the front rim forward or back and is quite bright for its size. The pen type clip on its side seems strong. I am pleased to have got this

arrived on time torch bright for size the only thing that I found that I did not like was the switch the button is to small hard to turn on with one hand button could be larger and more positive have not had real chance test battery time or reliability over time

this is a handy very bright light the light in the handle very handy to view something when you need both hands and can put the torch down wrist strap a handy extra. I wish the charging cable was a bit longer. It charges quickly I don't know how long it lasts from fully charged to completely flat I used it when taking dogs out late and put it on charge afterwards.

Took a while to arrive and it only came in a flimsy cardboard box with no instructions. However, for the price can't complain. It is bright and has three modes (high, low and flash) that you can cycle through by pressing the on/off button half way. Beam focus also works as expected. Not the best flashlight out there, but for the price i don't think i can find anything that comes even close. Good value for money.
