Looks really cool. Great gift for dino lovers.
This was a great rainy day project for the family. The instructions were clear, and the finished build looked very cool. There were just a few of the pieces that had small gaps between them; they didn’t fit together quite as well as the leading building block brand. I think this is why some of the pieces came off easily while trying to connect others. Still, the blocks went together fine with a little patience. There were lots of 1x1 pieces so I’d call it a more advanced set. It would probably be harder for young kids to enjoy building the set. While it says 12+, a creative or experienced block builder of 10+ might be able to complete it with a little help. The end result is so neat and the head, jaw, arms, and tail are fairly adjustable into fun poses. Our family had a great time putting it together and it will always be a good memory of something we worked on together. Since the end result is so neat it will have a nice spot to sit so that we can see it.

Absolutely incredible display piece, but sadly two bricks were missing from my set :(
This is probably one of the coolest-looking display pieces I have ever seen, the jaws, arms, and tail are adjustable, and it even has a little plaque, just like in a museum! It comes in a beautiful gift-worthy box, and the inner cardboard tray is really handy for keeping everything together while building, though you do need the tray as the pieces come in bags without identifying numbers and you have to dump everything out at the start and root around to find the pieces as you need them.I was really sad that I was shorted one of the "heel" bones for the back foot, as well as a 4x4 flat brick that goes in the first tail joint. I poked through the parts in the tray carefully, and the few bits and bobs of spare extras they gave me left over after, but those two were just not there, which is a shame as my eyes can't help but immediately zoom in on those flaws every time I look at my model now. I can deal with it, but it'd be a real bummer if it had happened with your kids and they got upset, you know?Missing pieces like that just shouldn't happen, and even though this is a lovely kit and a magnificent gift idea, I have to deduct a star for the missing pieces. Hopefully you'll be luckier than I was, and I still love this very much overall, but quality assurance just wasn't there this time, which is sad.

Poor piece organization; final product is a bit unstable
We got this set for a 7 year old to assemble. Unfortunately, the bags seem to be sorted more by size, definitely not by each step. We had to open all bags but one by step 4. We sorted all of the pieces into better groups because it was so difficult to find specific pieces. The bricks also had some uneven surfaces, but that’s expected for an off-brand from Lego. Unfortunately, the final model is a bit unstable / wobbly. It tends to pitch forward because the head is so heavy in comparison to the tail. The feet are also only held on by a 2-hole brick, so they tend to pop off when the model is moved. We included a soda can in the picture so you can see the scale / size of the dinosaur.

Missing pieces
Attempted to put this together and Im missing about 8 pieces so far from what I was able to gather. I had to end up taking the whole thing back apart and try to take inventory on every piece the instructions show I am supposed to have. The box was sealed so im assuming this is a manufacture defect. I guess thats what you get when you try to create a cheaper quality version of the only true branded building block sets.

Quality
The instruction book was great! (I ripped it in half to work on two parts at once.) I found it to be clear although occasionally you needed to pay close attention to the perspective. These blocks are very similar to weight and feel of LEGO brand. They fit together very well although at times they need a little extra effort to completely fit together. I think the quality is comparable considering the cost difference. The design is very stable and with all the parts, it was a very rewarding build. Worked through this with my 8 and 10 year olds. They loved it! The final build is even posable! There were certainly times I needed to assist but I feel that the 10 year old easily could have completed this on his own with a bit of tenacity.

A great set for a dino loving boy
My boys are obsessed with dinosaurs and this set is going to make a great Christmas gift for them. I like that they are compatible with traditional Lego sets. It looks challenging enough to keep my son busy for a while with the great pay-off of having a cool dino skeleton to add to his "Lego scene".

A fantastic and unique building set
This building set really surprised me in a good way. The pieces are almost identical in quality to LEGO both in terms of weight and feel and connect securely and with authority. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and aided by color-coded guides.Fair warning, this has a ton of small pieces. In fact, apart from the base, nearly all of the pieces are on the small side. Also, because they are all the same color, it can take some time to find the piece you're looking for. That said, this set is totally worth that time. It took me and my youngest son four days taking out sweet time for about an hour each day to complete the set and we loved every minute of it.And as you can see from the pics, it looks fantastic. Really great idea for a building set.
