I teach science and this model is a great inexpensive visual aid to use in my class.

Great hand. I unscrewed it from the base and screwed it into a piece of wood to make it into a jewelry stand. This is very high-quality and posable

Looks good. Will last forever. Good for demo.

i like the skeleton hand, but i feel like the wire length between the the thumb and index finger is too short, and it prevents the fingers from spreading out much. i may rewire the whole thing anyway. so that it moves the way i want it to.

It works great as a jewelry stand, fingers are kinda posable but firm enough to hold jewelry no problem. The base is screwed on by two screws so if one desires they could replace the base with a decorative piece of wood for a creative touch.

I bought this specifically for posing out for a model to sketch. I am trying to create a sign alphabet with skeleton hands. Unfortunately as you manipulate it, it gets much looser and the thumb is not opposable. I will have to cut it apart to get the maximum flexibility that I want. If you're just moving out once or won't be manipulating it often, it's fine quality for the price.

I use this hand as a business card holder. The hand is awesome but the base is super ugly cheap plastic so I had to make a new base.

i bought this hand to use as a jewelry holder and it works perfectly for that purpose! i easily painted the base black so the actual hand would stand out more. i put my rings and necklaces on it (small/light ones) and it looks great on my dresser. the whole thing is sturdy and well-made.
