Since i ordered a book that was already lightly used, i was impressed by the good quality it was still in. Perfect for my toddler who is still learning to be gentle and care for books!

This book is super funny. Mr. FILLINGSWORTH and the molar coaster rides had me and my 6 year old cracking up. It is sort of long but we break it up and do like half book one night and half another. Great buy for explaining to a child how teeth work and what they do! And how not to get cavities! - Review by a dentist wifey.

With so many young patients at our dental office, we decided to increase our dental library of children's books. After ordering ten or more stories, this was by far our absolute favorite for children AND parents. We're always looking for a way to teach parents to teach their kids about the importance of good oral health. This is perfect! There is so much information in this book about the structure of teeth, the jobs of each tooth, and why caring for teeth is essential. Parents and children learn that primary teeth (baby teeth) play a crucial role in speech development and holding a place for permanent teeth. While kids and parents are learning accurate information, they'll find that the humor in the book is fantastic as well. This is a dentist-approved book! We just love it and have shared the title with many others.

IF you are really into detail and humor you will LOVE this book. I can read it 10 times and still see something I missed! It is the cutest and most entertaining book for both adults and children! It is especially enjoyable for anyone in the dental profession! Every office should have it in the reception room, especially pedodontics.It is a great book to bring to a baby shower or to a first thru fifth birthday party! The pictures are as cute as the dialoque. The story line manages to capture your attention too! I have bought several copies of this book and keep it on hand for those quick "need a gift" moments! It proves to be a hit always!

This is a fantastic book! It is educational and entertaining.

Geared towards older children (7-10) with a keen interest in dental details. My son loves science and the body but this wasn't a win for us.

Just as with all of her books and illustrations, Laurie Keller'sOpen Wide entertains on many levels! The pictures make you want to climb intothe book, and be a part of the action. The teeth (characters) all have personality and the story follows them through a school day at Tooth School. It teaches about dental care, but more than that...it's funny! My kids love all of Mrs. Keller's works...including Stinky Thinking, The Scrambled States of America series, and all of the rest! Don't be surprised if you see this book in your dentist/orthodontist waiting room on your next visit!
