How long would there be OS upgrades and security patches ? Some apps stop functioning after some OS upgrades

There isn't a stated end of support date. This is the risk and overall truth of all similar devices, hardware and software. This device works well with the current software, for my applications, and feels well made. There isn't the annoying 'bloatware' of the big name devices.

So....How do you expand the ram? Obviously this only comes with 8GB of Ram.

Settings> system> Memory Expansions> “Run memory expansion size settings” you can set the rom size to match the ram at 8gb’s or you can lower it depending on needs. 8gbs of extended rom really helps multitasking activities and games for me but everyone’s uses might be different.
