This company (Homestyles) is great! I was very pleased with the packaging, quality, easy instructions and them taking time to label parts including sorting all the tools/nails. I appreciate this so much because unfortunately, I ordered from a different company awhile ago and it was a horrific experience trying to piece everything together on my own not to mention how long it took me to assemble. The quality of the homestyle chairs are very nice and sturdy. The photos are not deceiving. I didn't need help assembling because instructions were very easy and I'm an older female. GREAT Company (Homestyles) and they definitely have my 5 star vote sincerely. The attention they gave to their packaging & product let's me know how much they value their company name and customers :-). I'm a very satisfied customer!

Nice sturdy chairs. But buyer beware. I bought 2 of the same chairs and as you can she one had the holes drilled perfectly and one chairs holes were off for the side stretchers several inches. At first I thought I was doing something wrong until the 2nd chair assembled perfectly. Very annoying.

I never write reviews, so the very fact that I am writing one speaks to how pleased I am with this product. I bought two of these counter stools after searching for months for just the right size, color, look. I only had 36 inches for 2 stools and most are too big and too expensive. My kitchen is white cabinets and oak floor. These fit the criteria of color, size, style and dollars, but that is only half the story. I received them in about a week or less, opened the packages and was pleasantly surprised to find very clear instructions and labeling on everything. Every package of screws had their own label and tools were included! I put the first one together in a few minutes. It is sturdy, attractive and comfortable. Despite this, I did manage to switch the front legs on the second one I put together and didn't realize it. I thought there was a defect, so I contacted the manufacturer's service number listed on the instructions and got an immediate answer. They asked me to send a picture by email. I sent a picture and got a quick response diagnosing the problem. After making the switch, I have two stools that are absolutely perfect for my kitchen. So, add great service to the list, and I felt compelled to let others know about these stools.

The chairs are easy to assemble and look pretty good. The are sturdy and comfortable. Only flaw is that they rock a little like the legs are not even. We don't have this problem with our previous stools and our chairs so it's not the floor. All 3 stool have this issue to some degree. Overall we are happy because they match our existing dining room chairs with the same 2 tone.

I gave this a 5 star. Product is great. I purchased 6 and have had them for about 6 months now. I read some reviews on it before I purchased. Lots of misleading things glad I didn't let other reviews stop me from purchasing. A couple that almost did in fact were not an issue at all. Chairs tipping with kids... I have three boys 10, 6, and 2. All three get up and down with no problems. Another one was the parts missing out of box and return issues. All 6 went together beautiful. In fact my husband put them all together in 3-4 hours while I was away and watching a 2 year old. The only thing that could be better which is not a deal breaker AT ALL was the distressing around the edge of the seats has already started to wear, but since it's distressed it doesn't look bad and nothing a little stain marker can't fix. They wipe down with soapy water beautifully. Id buy them 10 times over again.

So far so good. They are reasonable quality chair considering the price. We had no trouble putting the chairs together, I was concerned because I'd read a few reviews saying it was difficult to assemble. I ordered two they look great we've been using them a couple of weeks now . My grand children live with me and they use the stools everyday they seem quite sturdy. They look great in my kitchen. Not giving them a five star because we've only used them a couple of weeks, I have to wait and see how they hold up

In October, after reading the reviews, I purchased 3 of these chairs (I wanted 4, but Amazon has a limit of 3 per order) to match my oak kitchen cabinets & black granite counter tops, & they are Perfect!. My son & I put them together. The first took the longest to put together, but then, we got the hang of it. It took about 10 minutes per chair & all the parts & screws were labeled & included. I love the distressed look of the seats & the chairs are large & sturdy(for big booties). My 6yr old grandson loves climbing up & down. Both my son & I weigh over 200lbs & these chairs support us easily. I recently ordered a 4th chair, to complete the set & my son put it together when it came. We have a large family & will be entertaining for the Holidays. So, I'll see how they stand up to our Annual Holiday Get-Together. But, so far, I am very happy with my purchase.

I just received our 2 chairs that I ordered. Upon opening the boxes we noticed that two of the pieces, a front stretcher and a side stretcher were severely mangled. There are deep gouges as well as crumbling and puffing black paint. The boxes were in fine condition upon arrival so this is definitely a quality control issue. I have filled out the manufactures form on requesting a replacement part and will update this review upon a resolution. So now I will have one chair at our new kitchen island. I am very upset and disappointed right now.I am updating below since my original post:I called and went onto the manufacturers website to submit my request for replacement parts. They followed up with me within 24 hours and requested pictures of the problems I was describing. I sent them and within 24 hours they got back to me and let me know they were shipping out all the replacement parts I requested. They shipped me a completely new chair and there were no issues with the new one. The replacement arrived within a week. Overall I would purchase again but if you don't want a potential slight headache, you might want to select a different chair.

This stool is really nice. It's well made, sturdy and easy to assemble. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The price is very good too.

Best buy !!!! Easy ordering, fast delivery. Chairs are easy to put together and are so very, very, comfortable to sit on- you just fit right into them. Nice color combination. Friends that have come over, after sitting down on them, were asking where I had bought them from because they wanted to buy them too! Well worth the money!

We bought three for our kitchen peninsula to eat casual meals. They are comfortable for our 3 yr old toddler and my 6ft 1 220+lbs husband so they worked out for our whole family. I put them together myself and did not need any power tools. The instructions were easy to follow and also came with extra bolts just in case. These are easy to clean and work well in our shaker kitchen. Thanks Amazon!

Love the fact that it is solid wood, very nicely finished. Excellent value

A very comfortable chair, but if you've got a house full of kids using these, I'd recommend looking for a more solid (and more expensive) model. Ok for the price I paid, and mostly just my husband and myself using them.
