Bamboo Bread Slicer with Knife, Adjustable Thickness Guide, Multi-Functional for Various Bread Types

After years of buying other bread slicers that needed replacing every few months, we finally found the perfect solution with the Bamboo Wood Foldable Bread Slicer. Since purchasing it on July 10, 2020, we’ve been headache-free! This slicer is fantastic – sturdy, durable, and designed to last. The adjustable thickness feature is great for getting the perfect slice every time, and the crumb catcher tray keeps things tidy. It’s a compact and well-made item that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable bread slicer.

I make home made bread so this is very useful to help with cutting. Some of my bread is very soft so this makes it easier to cut even slices. Did purchase a longer bread knife (10 inch blade) which it needs. It's great that you can fold it up when not in use, it would be better if say the bread crum tray was deeper then you could store the wooden stop end in the tray.

A bit disappointing really, it’s well made , the concept is good , but it just doesn’t seem to work very well on home baked bread . I’ve not tried it on shop bought bread yet though, I think the gaps for the knife to go down are to big , so the blade wanders .

I bought this to make life easier for my husband and I who are both registered blind. It is a fab product and has made slicing bread so much easier. it’s solid and steady, and comfortably accommodates different sizes of loaf. I also like that it is made from bamboo and so more sustainable than a plastic product. The only thing of which you need to be aware is that you need a breadknife with a good long blade in order to accommodate the width of the product and allow the knife to rest between the slats which dictate the thickness of the slices. The bread knife from our knife block isn’t long enough, but we have a standalone one that is. Therefore, if you only have knives from a knife block, you may need to invest in a different knife. However, I would still say that it is worth it because of how useful the product has been.

Good knife but the cutter is terrible. Bits of wood come off of it all the time so can't risk using it. The bread I make it too thick for it at 2lb. With it being too thick you have to try guess the first inchs. It's that that bad we have gone back to our cheap plastic one. The knife it awesome tho so at least I don't feel too ripped off

It’s very flimsy and you can’t cut the bread all the way down to the bottom

This item is excellent. Had a bread machine on my worktop for 4 years, hadn’t used once until lockdown. Now using the machine all the time. Can’t remember when I last bought a loaf from a shop. Loving making different types of bread and cakes and was very excited to receive this item. It is very sturdy and if you put the sticky circular blobs on the underside of the item when using it, it doesn’t move around, it is very secure. You do need to use both hands when using it but if you are slicing freshly made bread, you are using two hands anyway. I will need to get a longer bread knife to use but the one I have is very old anyway so will be getting a new one. Bought my son a bread making machine for Christmas so bought another one of these to go with it. Would recommend, it enables you to cut perfectly even slices but I didn’t want to cut all the way through in case I damaged the bamboo so got 95% through then removed it to finish the cut. Not cheap but stylish.

The product looks great and allows you to cut thick, medium and thin slices. Unfortunately after 3 uses one of the wooden pieces on the thin side snapped so be careful. The item is also quite wide for my knife and homemade 1.5lb loaf and there is no way to reduce that width. I find the bread moves around quite a bit making it harder to slice. My bread knife has an 8” blade which won’t fit in both sides of the slicer at same time so have to slice one side then the other.

Makes cutting bread so easy

Simple à monter et à utiliser. La trancheuse à pain répond à mes attentes 👍. J’en ai commandé une seconde pour mon fils, qui en est très content également. Bon achat !
