It's a small pill but does a good job of bringing down the eyelids for a good night sleep. And it has a fruity taste that dissolves under the tongue.

This works so good! It totally helps me fall asleep. But it does not keep you asleep at night if that is your problem. I would only use it to help you fall asleep at first. It tastes really good a very nice grape flavor not one of those gross ones.

This product has helped me relax and fall asleep and not bad taste or smell to it. It has an amazing quality and easy to swallow not a big pill. It is very effective and not as expensive as other melatonin products can be.

I have been using this product for 2 years now, and I can safely say that it is more powerful than Unisom. This is true for both making me sleepy and keeping me asleep for over 7 hours. I routinely sleep about 7-1/2 hours with it, and it works faster too.

Good product, melts in your mouth, so not another pill to swallow, and has a nice, calming effect for sleep. I do not experience any issues the next morning either.

I do not swallow my melatonin, for the simple reason that it is destroyed by stomach acid and digestive enzymes: almost NONE gets into the blood. The best way to maximize its benefit is sublingual tablets (as in this bottle), dissolved under the user's tongue upon getting into bed. Since the supplement is absorbed directly into the blood stream, one hundred percent of the dose goes to the brain. The desired affect, sleep, is achieved within a minute or two. The amount of the dose is determined by trial and error: starting with five mg. dissolved in cheek or under the tongue; repeat every 10 minutes until the hypnotic/sleep inducing dose is attained for each person's unique body chemistry.

I’ve taken melatonin on and off for a great number of years. I’ve used a few different brands. One thing I’ve always noticed with melatonin though is that while it was effective in helping me sleep, it also made me feel extremely groggy the next morning. I wasn’t aware that melatonin was made at up to 40 mg, so seeing peaked my interest. I glanced over the reviews for this and all seemed positive. Admittedly, I didn’t do any research on this specific brand, Carlyle… but I was just desperate to get something to help me with my sleep. I’ve been using it the past two nights. This helps put me to sleep and stay asleep! This 40 mg is perfect. Best of all - NO grogginess the next morning! This is the first time I’ve ever taken a melatonin that doesn’t make me feel groggy the following morning. The pill quite literally dissolves within several seconds on your tongue. No liquid needed to down it. It has a pleasant taste; no bitterness, and not overly sweet. It does say to not take any more than a single pill and I believe that one is surely enough. They’re probably isn’t any harm in taking two, but with it being as effective as it is, two just might be too much. The only side effect I have noticed with this is I have been having some strange dreams. Then again my dreams are always kind of weird. I’m not exactly sure if it’s from the melatonin but since taking it, I have noticed an increase in dreams in general. So overall, this product has nothing but pros and zero cons. 150 pills at 40 mg for the price and actually works? Can’t beat it! Just happy I finally found a melatonin that doesn’t make me feel groggy the next morning.

Made me so drowsy I couldn’t even focus the next day. I was drowsy well into the next afternoon, even needing to take a nap around 3. I won’t be taking any more u til I go on vacation.
