Superb book for social workers
I am currently going to school for my bachelors in social work and as soon as I get done I will spending the year on my masters. This was a good book with a lot of hands on questions. The material was clear and easy to read and understand. I am going to use this book when I start my masters program in May. Thanks a lot

Not helpful for the ASWB exam.
While this book had some good general info, it does not format questions in the exam or have helpful material to achieve the LMSW. I brought this book and studied out of it, alongside watching YouTube videos from content creators on passing the exam. When it came time for the test, I found that the info this book had was not applicable for the test. Thankfully, I still passed but I would avoid buying this and use your resources elsewhere.

Full of inconsistencies and inaccurate information
This book was utterly disappointing because I am now unsure what is fact and what isn't. The review section is unlike anything I've seen before and needs to be more accurate in several places. And the questions are the same. Example: in the review section on page 22 is a list of the "six basic human needs" listed as Food, Water, Shelter, Sleep, Human Interactions, and Novelty. Ok, fine. Question 19 of test 1: Which of the following is NOT one of the six basic needs? A) Safety, B) Autonomy, C) Novelty, and D) Affection. The answer is (C) Novelty. WHAT????? And then, even more bizarre is the answer rationale. "The six basic needs model lists these needs for human development: Love/Affection, Safety/Security, Autonomy/Independence, Self-Worth, Emotional Nurturance, and Stimulation." This is just wild. And it's not the only place this happens. On top of this, this is the first I have heard of this six basic needs model unless it refers to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs (in which case both are wrong). Ugh!

Good book
This was a really Nate book period I learned a lot that I didn't know or understand from this book and the things that it takes to understand the chemistry and things behind them. I understand it now.
