Q: How do you care for it, i.e. clean it?

There are special soaps for washing "Neoprene containing products" to keep them clean and fresh. One of the brands for instance is called PISS OFF (made by Rip Curl); also sold by Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Rip-Curl-Piss-Wetsuit-Cleaner/dp/B002OPZH5C However, recently, I've used other easier ways of keeping my back supporter fresh and sanitary. Once every couple weeks, wash it in a tub (more area than your sink) of fresh warm water (not hot)... use a couple caps of dishwashing detergent; the detergent will break down body oils and wash away, if any, bacteria. Rinse in fresh water to get all the detergent off, then fresh air dry it (example hang it over your towel bar, overnight on top of a towel). Try to repeat this every few weeks (of course depending on how much you use it) and your back supporter will be clean, fresh and odor free.
