Smart Outdoor Key Lock Box, Fingerprint/Tuya APP/Password/Emergency Key Unlocked, APP Wireless Remote Unlocking, Smart Home Keys Car Key Box

I own a small mini storage facility that I seem to have to lock storage units all the time because someone is not paying for them with this little key box. I can walk their door and install it on the door knob that way when everything is all paid up I do not have to go back to each individual And get the keys back. I can just tell them to combo and they can use the key inside to get back into their stuff.

I originally didn't like this lock. The first lock box had a default and faulty lock. I also didn't like the lack ofremote access but found Foxgard Gateway, which is compatible with this lock. If was easy to set up and I can access this remotely.

I ordered this smart key lock box primarily to secure spare keys to my 5th wheel trailer while we are camping. I also like having it handy to use for leaving keys for others.This smart key lock box is well constructed and operates as described on the Amazon product page.What I like:Three ways to unlock. Combo, fingerprint, or phone app.Uses Tuya/Smart Life app which I like and already use.Rechargeable with a USB-C connector, very common.What I don’t like:Bulky box prevents shackle from fitting onto most door knobs.No manual override if battery dies or electronics fail, although you can recharge from outside if battery dies.Fingerprint reader often needs multiple attempts to open.Overall, this smart lock box does what it is supposed to do and I would recommend it.

Featurewise this is the best lock box i was able to find. Fingerprint check. Lock Code check. App unlock within proximity check. Unlock via key check. What did not work here was the ability to connect it to my wifi hub. This was the deal breaker for me as i needed to manage the box remotely for a rental property. Other attributes, this item is build very solid; Its heavy. The other drawback to this one is it not much of a looker.

I am so impressed with this. The app is actually usable and well thought out. It is part of an ecosystem of devices and is compatible with Samsung SmartThings. That means it might work with other home automation controllers.The lockbox itself is beefy and seems as it would repel most physical attacks. I have had it outside in the rain for a week and it is unscathed. One caution, like other fingerprint readers, it does not work well in the rain. If you do not have a code, shield the reader from the rain, dry it well, wait a moment and it should work.I enrolled a few fingerprints (thumbs and one finger on each hand) and six temp codes with no issue. The lock mechanism operates with codes, fingerprints or the app which allows great flexibility. I tried a shim attack against the lock but had no success.One odd feature is that, since it can be integrated into home automation controllers, one can unlock it and have the controller drive actions that unlock the doors or activate lights. This means you can use it to allow access to a home without actually having a key in the lock box.I love this because it does not look like an alarm keypad but will work like one. Pretty sneaky for an occupied home. You could place this on a fence or gate and have automation control locks and lights at a distance.For an empty home, you can place a key in the lockbox for physical access. I always caution against physical keys since they can be copied with just a photograph of the key.Two thumbs up! I will be looking at more home automation products from this company.

The product description and videos are accurate. I appreciate that it has so many ways to unlock it, but I want to note that you have to install the app in order to set up those ways. So, you can use a code, but you have to first install the app in order to assign the code to the lock. You can use a fingerprint, but you register your fingerprint through the app. So, the app is required for setup but not for subsequent daily use. For those who don't want to use an app at all, but who want a more direct, mechanical way to use a lock, this would not be for you. However, as I tested it, I am pleased with how it works (it works as described) and I would recommend it to others.There are some features listed that sounded good to me, but I could not find them in the Tuya app. There were some Third-Party Services through Alexa, Google Assistant, SmartThings, and IFTTT, but I'm not sure what services are offered except for Skills.One thing about the app that is not obvious: In the app, go to your smart lock device. There is a green slider bar at the bottom (left to lock and right to unlock) and that part works for me. However, it is not obvious, but you can slide the screen UP so you can see more features DOWN lower. Scroll up and you will see the Notification Bell, then Temporary Code, then Member Management, etc. Go inside of the Temporary Code and set one code that expires far into the future and choose Custom, not temporary. Also, when entering a 6-8 digit code on the smart lock, you then have to press the pound (#) sign as an "Enter" button or else it won't take the code. That was not obvious to me. The app allows you to enable/disable remote unlocking (keep this enabled). You can also receive SMS notifications, such as when a family member comes home and uses the lockbox, but I think that is through a Third-Party and you have to provide your mobile number.The app has a log that can show you who unlocked it and how (I found the log under the notification bell icon. Just tap it and wait and the log will appear).I like the feature of being able to configure the smart lock with 50 sets of fingerprints and 100 sets of passwords. That is under Member Management. Under Member Management, it didn't list any people. First, I had to create a "Home" (outside of the smart lock device) and I added myself as a person. Then when I came back to the smart lock and scrolled down to Member Management, my name was there. When I selected my name, it allowed me to add my fingerprint and a personal code for myself. Remember to press the pound (#) sign after entering a code so it knows you are done.

This has not seemed very user friendly thus far but maybe I just need to try again

As a former Realtor, I am familiar with lock boxes. I never did like them when I was selling real estate as some can be a real pain to open and close. This one functions well though. I use it on an outbuilding that I keep locked, but this allows me to give the code to a couple of people that I trust to have access into the building. I love that you can open it with a code or a fingerprint.

The media could not be loaded.  It's a bit large and heavy, but it serve a good purpose of protecting keys or small valuable items stored inside.It got automatically discovered by the Tuya app, and I was able to control all its functionalities flowlessly using the app!I would have hoped to use it as a normal keylock, but it only works as such if you open the box first. Once its opened you can unlock the top U shaped lock. To lock that again, you'll have to keep the box closed.The fingerprint scanner worked like a charm, and having 2 backup methods to unlock it (numpad and app) is a great thing to have!

I have received the lock box today, the electronic key is missing which is a vital back for the item. Tuya should look into such packaging lapses, prior to this order a similar lock box twice, both the time the charging cable was missing, so I returned the lock box. Thank God this time the charging cable was in the box, but NO ELECTRONIC KEY. I hope you will take necessary step to rectify your shortcoming and send me the electronic key at the earliest.
