I bought this model kit to add to my collection of small robot kits and for the price I wasn't expecting much. Turns out to be very easy to put together and very complete. There were only a few times where the directions got me pretty confused. Overall, it's an excellent model and it really gives the vibe of the movie while being a great value for the price.

It’s Lego like but looks cool when ya get it together.

I don’t leave many reviews, or purchase a lot of things like this, but I have to say this kit is amazing for $13. Even at full price $15 that still seems way too cheap for what I got. It was an impulse purchase with low expectations, but it really delivered. I grew up with this movie and built my own LEGO versions as a kid, but they were nothing like this kit. Assembly took an hour or so on a snowy day. Took me back to building kits as a kid. Instructions were detailed and easy to follow.Not sure how well this would hold up to actual play by actual kids, but as a nostalgia piece next to my shop TV it will hold up fine. And that’s not a knock against it, for the price it is amazing in detail and pose ability. Surprised it’s not $30-$40. If you liked the movies or appreciate a building block bargain, buy this. I’m buying another for my own kiddos. Thanks and A++

I've wanted a little plastic Johnny 5 pretty much since the first film came out. As a kid I made my own LEGO version but this one is way better!Assembly was easy enough and the instructions are pretty easy to follow. I'm a middle-aged guy with arthritis and neuropathy in my hands yet had no issues. Yeah, the tread assembly was tedious but necessary since they actually do roll on rough surfaces like a couch or carpet. Some areas of the figure are easy to dislodge though. For example where the neck structure attaches to the upper body. However, that's more a problem with the robot's design and the company trying to follow that pretty faithfully. The connection between the upper and lower body is kind of flimsy. There are ratcheting elbows and a segment where on the lower body where it attaches to the track platform and they were pretty tight on mine. Might pop some pieces loose trying to articulate those joints. Had all the pieces. A big issue for me with off-brand building kits are missing parts so that was great to find.If you want a cool little Nova S.A.I.N.T. war machine on your shelf this is it! You really can't beat it for the price. It's a fun way to kill an hour or so, especially if you're a fan of the films. Not the best I would think for a small child however. I'd love to see one of these companies take a stab at a Part 2 battle-damaged, "really PO'd" version next!

Everything is high quality, including the box. Perfect for my husband!

The set I received was missing the piece I took a picture of. Putting it together has stalled. Will be a great set when I can complete it some day.

Great stuff I love these third party lego sets! Manual was very nice touch and easy to read (with pictures). They go together quite nicely and look great, all for a very reasonable price. I'm already eyeing a couple more sets.

The quality for is great ! And out of all the ones coming onto the market this one seems to be the closest in detail and especially the eyes to the original. Get yours while you can
