If oem toyota is available I get it because its generally the best.
I'm not sure if its that much better then the other red aftermarket coolant that you can get at the big box stores, but never had an issue. Every 5-6 years I replace the coolant on all my toyotas with toyota coolant and it looks unused when it comes out. So in my mind that means none of the metal in the coolant system corroded. If you ever tore apart a dash to replace a heater core on a modern car you will pay the extra not to do it again. I'm sure that other parts of the coolant system last longer too.

Cant beat OEM for toyota coolant. It works. Its worth getting the original stuff. I have a 2011 tacoma and plan to run it to 500k and beyond. Plus its Pink! Lol
