Reliable and Easy-to-Install RJ45 Cat7 Wall Plate for Enhanced Networking
I recently installed the RJ45 Wall Plate 2 Port (Cat7) and am very pleased. The installation was simple with the included low voltage mounting bracket, and the metal shielded coupler ensures a stable connection.Performance-wise, it supports high-speed data transfer, noticeably improving my internet speed for streaming and gaming. The sleek white design fits well with my decor and keeps everything looking tidy. With two plates in a pack, it’s a great value for anyone upgrading their networking setup. Highly recommended for reliable Ethernet connectivity!

Cuts my speed in half :(
Running a peer to peer network for video storage. I get 10 gigabit speed with my server with my Asus XG-C100C Nic card when connected directly. Using this outlet/wall plate cuts it to 5Gbps...sometimes only 100mb/sec. That won't do. :(

No Template
While this simple plastic device makes for a good wall opening for low voltage wiring (LAN cables, coax, speaker wiring, etc), the lack of a simple paper template for cutting the hole in the wall makes this much more difficult to use.I’m creating my own template from a plastic lid in order to use these, but had I known they didn’t include a template, I would have purchased a different brand that comes with a template.

One out of four jacks worked. Jacks way too tight.
I could barely insert any network cable into these jacks, and unplugging a cable is even worse. Felt like the was going to pull the box out of the wall. My network cable tester showed good continuity on all 4 pairs leading up to this panel, but 3 of the four jacks lost multiple signals once these connectors where installed.
