Fisco BT5M BigT Tape 5m

If you are thinking about getting this tape DO IT!!! The only thing you'll regret is not having done so sooner.The accuracy is better than any other tape I have ever used (I've been a Bench Joiner for 20+ years).From the rubberised hook, so it doesn't get bent, the softer coil action, so you can leave it on whatever you're measuring without it running away if you let go of it, to the flip out bit at the back for measuring internals by just adding 100mm to the measurement clearly indicated at the front of the tape (as long as you actually remember to add the 100mm... (You'll only forget to do it once, or four times when your fitting some really expensive Oak skirts)). It's all been thought about...And I haven't even mentioned the second best thing yet!!The clip is an absolute game changer... I haven't had to waste time looking for my tape for years!!! Pencils are a different story mind you. I can't imagine not having it there all the time now...But, above all these brilliant features... from the right angle... IT LOOKS LIKE MR T!!!(Presumably so you can Pity the Fool that doesn't have one)

I have misplaced my previous Fisco, so ordered a new one because of the sturdy and premium feel. The price has remained the same (29€), but the build quality is not what it used to be. It feels flimsy now, I don’t expect this one to last long. I don’t recommend it, especially not at this premium price.

Habe mir dieses Maßband zugelegt, nachdem ich bemerkt hatte, dass ich mit meinem bisherigen unerklärliche Fehler hatte. Ich bin erst mal begeistert. Innen- oder Außenmessung, die Maße stimmen einfach.Positiv:+ Skala lässt sich hervorragend ablesen+ ausklappbare Lasche, als klare Kante für Innenmessungen und auch als Kante zum anzeichnen. Oft kann man so ein Maß abnehmen, das Maßband verriegeln und das Maß einfach übertragen; ohne erneut zu messen.+ praktischer, selbst verriegelnder Gürtelclip, der gut funktioniert+ Bei Innenmessung einfach plus 10cm addieren, d.h. leicht zu berechnen. (Darf man natürlich nicht vergessen ;).)Nicht so toll:o Entriegelung des Maßbands (ich meine das Maßband, nicht den Gürtelclip) für meinen Eindruck recht schwergängig.o mit einer Hand nicht gut zu bremseno Ausklapplasche ist bzgl. Abreissen gefährdet (bisher aber noch nicht passiert)- Maßband verdreht sich frühzeitig oder knickt ab (ab ca. 1m-1,3m)Die bemängelten Punkte können von einem Profi Handwerker z.T. anders gesehen werden, deshalb werte ich sie nicht absolut negativ. Ich kann das Maßband insgesamt nur empfehlen. Damit macht das Arbeiten erst Spass und die Ergebnisse stimmen bei mir auch mit dem Laser-Entfernungsmesser überein.
