I got these to start using when I head up to the mountain to snowboard. These fit great and don't impede your motion in any noticeable kind of way. With these on I feel like I can take a little more risks in the park without worrying too much about the risks when it comes to falling on my behind.Always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to those kind of things so these are worth a pick up.

It's not yet winter at the time of receiving this product, however, I did try it on over my Merino wool base layers with my outer layers overtop and moved around a bit with them. I'm a men's size 30 waist and the size small slipped easily over the wool leggings that I wear as a base layer. They are stretchy enough that the Velcro enclosure at the front isn't really necessary, I didn't even need to undo it to pull them on. I cannot say if they would cause any chafing since I had a layer underneath, however, the waistband which was touching my skin was comfortable. Because of the padding, they do add some thickness to your body, so consider this for the pants you will be wearing over them.

I got these padded shorts for my son for snowboarding season. He is still a beginner and falls a lot. He said it was comfortable and looks well padded. It fit him well, we got S and he is a tall 12 year old. Now I will feel more comfortable when he falls to prevent any injuries.

The fit is nice, doesn't restrict. Kind of weird looking, especially with the mesh vents on the front. I'm 150 lbs | 30" waist and the Small Size was a perfect match. My gripe is the front/side padding is nice, but doesn't really protect the hard parts (bones) of my body. Wish they were more hip and pelvis protecting. The butt padding works great.

This padded shorts fitted with your body’s movement. The pads are not on the way on your moving lines. It had the front opening and that will accommodate both male and female’s needs. I like it mostly is this truly provided protection because the Eva forms go down all the way to the tailbone. Better coverage with freedom movement.

The padding is great. It is decent quality. I would say it's true to size but the waist band is a bit tight so if you don't enjoy tightness around your waist get a size bigger however from the thighs it fit great. Definitely helps protect your butt.

I think it's well made, but my only problem is the Small size was still big for my son

The product is well done, good padding and good material.The one issue is the sizing. I am 6ft tall and normally wear 32 size pants. The shorts are labeled S - Small for woman / children.The pants fit almost perfect for me, see pictures.
