Great deal if found on sale.
I got this on sale and happy with the purchase. It's a gateway into the game but the terrain is useful. You are able to field different threat level of teams for a variety of matchups. The rules are easy to learn, the assembly is quick, and the teams are designed to face each other. I would say the value is pretty good and the design of the models almsot makes feel like action figures!

A huge upgrade in models
So this review is strictly about the models included since I've never played the game. I had the initial starter box and while I liked the models, some a bunch, I found at least half of them hard to assemble (looking at you Zemo, Captain Marvel, and Ultron). This set, however, AMG has made the models much easier to build without sacrificing the quality of the sculpts. I have yet to build the terrain but the cars seem to be the same ones as the Core Set. Overall it is a great starting point and maybe some day I will be able to say I've played the game and can update my review accordingly.

Easy to learn, difficult to master
Crisis Protocol is so great, been there since day one, Never figured it would or could get this good, every system has flaws, but it's been a masterpiece in game design, even if the expansions are kinda pricey, also, if you need to poorhammer some expansions, buy this kit, 3d printers on etsy sell expansion minis, then just print some cards.

One of the most amazing tabletop games to come. Robust system with tons of replay and the models just keep coming. Don't be overwhelmed by the model. Buy what you like and play.
