When quality matters
Great taste coffee. A bit expensive but you can’t beat illy on quality

Got to be the best coffee
All these Illy capsules are good. These long (blue) capsules give a nice long coffee and the red and black capsules give a stronger espresso coffee. The sealed tins hold the flavour of the coffee and the coffee produced actually tastes like coffee unlike a lot of coffee powders, even with ground coffee. Relatively expensive per capsule but absolutely well worth it.

I love Illy coffee, it’s the only coffee I drink at home. (Can’t rely on having it served elsewhere). I use the FrancisFrancis Illy machine.

Batista coffee whilst staying safe
At a time when we should all be staying safe indoors this coffee will make you feel like you wouldn’t want to venture to a coffee shop even if you could :) It’s a real luxury taste in the comfort of your own home.

Thin gruel
Most disappointing. For the extra cost over other Illy capsules you get 4.6 oz rather than 5 oz of coffee. This results in the longer brew having a bland taste, not the rich taste you expect from Illy. Frankly, this product appears to be a rip-off. The phrase "the bean-counters have been at work" is literally true. That will come as a great disappointment to all the many fans of the Illy brand.

I have the little Illy machine which uses these pods. The coffee is excellent. I've been drinking espresso for 50 years and this is one of the most consistently good coffees out there. It's not cheap, but good coffee isn't and compared to some famous coffee chains out there, it blows them away! You will have a hard time finding better coffee at a similar price. Lavazza is also quite good. Just make sure your machine actually works with these pods. They do NOT work with most cheap, popular espresso pod machines. It is a very specific pod design. Check it first. Does not fit a Keurig!

I got a new Illy Gaggia Espresso Machine on Cyber Monday and these Lungo Espresso Pods are perfect! The machine pulls a wonderful espresso shot every time and has a steam rod to make lattes. 126 pods for around $85 is a great price!
